We’re shit and predictable.

WTF has happened to Haaland? He hides and moves away from the danger zones he should be attacking

Be like this until Pep leaves
Not sure what is going on with Haaland.

Literally hiding in Plain site. I agree he doesn't even attack the right areas the lazy fucker. If the Ball isn't to him he literally never moves towards the Ball.

Really irritating me..Sure players lose form now and again. Haaland though is just not trying and we can all see it.

It should be like playing with 12 with Haaland instead it is more often than not like playing with 10.

Same as with Dias, his partner doesn't seem the best pick for a footballer.
But my money is that he is tired of the non-stop passes and the chains on the creative players behind him.

Plus he is tired of having to play so much because of Marmoush being another waste of space.

Whose fault is that then ? Does baldy get a free pass does he ?
According to some morons on here he’s untouchable.

The fault lies with those kicking the ball at the goal.

The fault lies with the fucking manager - paid 25 million and spends 100s of millions to dish up that shit and similar shit over the last 2 seasons - he’s done , most of us said it a long time ago.

Was forced to play Khus and another kid and they made him look like a cunt for not using them before.

I want Enrique and I hope it happens end of this season as our football is painful to watch - it’s pathetic.

115 doesn't put Nunes on the right week-in, week-out.
It's a calamity of bad decisions after winning the treble that caught up with us.

Imagine picking up zero wins from these 3 when we were well and truly back in the hunt. A totally inexperienced backline meant we needed to play in their half and we did fuck all most of the game, got presented 2 gilt edged chances to seal it and missed both.

Piss poor from far too many this last two weeks.
Tracking back is overrated.

Two centre halves the only bright spot tonight.

Shit finishing. Slow and predictable build up play.

Ake is finished , painful watching him try and get up and down at full back. Did very well in treble season but time to move on.

Why is bernardo playing right wing when he has no pace, he works constantly but he should be in the centre or not at all , and going on this season it should be not at all.

Very frustrating to have thrown away a good position at turn of year to now be looking over shoulder and thinking top 4 is as good as it’s going to get. Even by Arsenal standards it would take some bottle job from here for us to win it.

100% brilliant post Dub, but if I had to distill it, these two words would be my short.

To build on all your highly valid points, I would add...

Brighton had a shitty negative plan that got them a point, but also got us our penalty...
Negative as fuck - more shirt tugging, like a bunch of rats. It wasn't just the frequency of the shirt tugging, it was all so blatant. I watched Bernie stop playing - made himself stand statie still so he could highlight to the ref how blatant the tugging was. This was the only way he could force the ref - who was shit - to intervene.

We could see all of this from third tier of Colin Bell, but Refee McBiasedFace couldn't see fuck all?

They got 5 (?) bookings in first half I think.

2nd half they were more attacking.

We defended well (apart form that goal, which qe saw coming a mile off), but our attack was shit.

Why?

The rumble of seats as serial early departure left in the 76th minute didn't help.

I'm torn on this behaviour.

Part of me thinks - fuck of abd don't come back- your departure en masses directly diminishes player morale.

Another part of me thinks - the club is treating SC holders like mugs and replaces their tickets with tourist tickets - i dont blame you.

Also, more half and half scarves than home an away scarves combined tonight. Pathetic. Wasn't this bad last year.

Got back into the hunt largely on a return to form of Foden and Cherki starting to show us what he can do. Along the way some others have chipped in to the goal tally to assist Haaland. Clean sheets were starting to become regular but our flaws were still there, Pep's DNA doesn't allow for adaption. A fast break still causes us problems, Nunes is a massive weakness in defence, O Reilly cant play full back AND left wing for 90 minutes, Savinho and Doku need to find their target more. Pep needs to react quicker to what is happening on the pitch. Brighton are mid table fodder that had 1 win out of 6 coming to us, Sunderland average and Chelsea little better both beaten by mid table teams. Christmas happens every year, get used to it. Injuries happen its what a squad is for. Get rid of old wood. Silva, Stones, Ake their time has come. Doku, Savinho, improve or move on . Nunes play in midfield and evaluate or move on. He wasn't bought to play right back

Semenyo will likely be forced to play there now

Pep has to do Pep shit to try and make himself look like a fucking genius.

Trouble is 90% of the shit Pep does these days is just fucking retarded because there obvious better options.

Not the Pep way though.

Just see a damming statistic we have had 50 Shotsl in the last 3 games = 2 Goals.

What the fuck do we do in training these days.

Sure games come thick and fast over the festive season..But we always look under coached and struggle to perform for a full 90 minutes regardless.

I feel like the Manager and many of the players are taking the piss with life on Easy Street.

We should be looking like an elite team with the money spent. Yet we get out worked by old players and journeymen.

I am looking forward to a new era.

Agree with this.
In these 10 years here, I can sincerily say it feels that in 5-6 games we were beaten by a better side than us, a team that outplayed us. The rest all comes down to mind boggling tactics, brainfarts and bad decisions mostly from him.

When he leaves, I will forever be grateful for what he brought here, but will also feel he could have won even more if he wasn't so damn full of himself.

Pep on Max's debut - "He had a few defensive issues previously but today, one-on-one, he was fast in the transition and on the ball he was really, really exceptional."

Why does he do that? Why does he feel the need to have a sly dig whilst giving a complement? He does it all the time. Keep the critism for private, build up the kids confidence publicly.

He had a good game so we'll never see him again now.

For as incredible as he is scoring goals overall, he's always gone a bit missing when the pressure is on. It's also one of the main difference between the last generation of City players from the current team. You could always expect Vinny, Dave, Aguero, Yaya, etc to step up late in a must win game and do what is needed. Have not yet seen that at all from the current crop of players.
