I think that is 4 games without a win in the PL not much being made of this yet, its a disgrace given the talent at our disposal

It’s gotten to a stage where I pity Lewis. He’s been put into a position and asked to do a. Job he can’t. He doesn’t have the defensive instincts or ability to defend a back post from a ball coming across. There isn’t even good movement from their player to score he’s just gone in straight line and Lewis no idea he is coming in. He’s being set up to fail constantly put in a position that he can’t operate. He’s looked tidy enough in midfield but not level we should be looking to have in there. If we can all see it and call it out before a game and the manager puts him in you have to call him out , it happened for probably 7/8 time since start of last season where same movement and he nowhere near a full back and concede a goal.

As for Ake , he looks like he’s dragging a caravan behind him trying to run, if you could even class his top speed as a run these days. Starting him left full against a pacey winger when two more mobile options there on bench was mental. Soon as saw two full back said them red profile would get a huge lift soon as see team sheet.

Haaland has to be injured, I can’t see any other logical reason for his lack of movement other than he has decided he doesn’t want to be here. It’s not form the effort is completely lacking from a month back. Looks like a different person. Hopefully Marmoush be back to come in midweek and get him a break.

Try and find a positive , our keeper is fucking outstanding shot stopped that stopped us being completely embarrassed. I really hope he let the rest of them know how shite they were in the dressing room, including the manager.

A quote from Stoned Rose on another forum

"How anybody can think playing the highest line in the world with 2 kids, a little girl and Stephen Hawkins was a good idea is mind blowing"

Couldn't have said it any better.

I remember watching a city game many years ago. Peter Reid was playing for us, it wasn't going well for him. Due to his age. The commentator said he was playing with a piano on his back.
Today Ake and Haaland reminded me of that comment, they looked like they had pianos on their backs.
It could have been 6. Worst derby performance I can remember.

I missed the game, and thank fuck I did. The moment I saw the lineup, especially that back four he decided to roll with, I knew exactly where this was heading. You could feel it coming.

Honestly, I’m exhausted. Exhausted of going into every match anxious, waiting for the inevitable Guardiola fuck‑up. This club is not a toy for experiments. It’s not a whiteboard for his ideas.

I will always be grateful for what he’s given us, no one can take that away. But gratitude doesn’t mean silence. What this has turned into is toxic, as toxic as it can possibly get.

Buy whoever you want. Spend whatever you like. It won’t matter. Not like this. Not with him in charge.

If you missed the game you’re not allowed to comment according to some simple cunts on here !! and that includes if you have seen all the highlights and read up on all the reports it still does not allow you to comment on the game.

I was genuinely shocked when he moved Ake to Centre half.

I had a laugh in my Head " Maybe Pep thought they are not exploiting with Ake as Full back, i will move him central for Mbueno Mainoo to get at.

Others and myself called it Mbueno was going to get chances to easily do him, and he did.

WTF goes through Peps Head when fans can see what is coming before he does.

It defies belief so much that i am still struggling to comprehend how a supposed genius Manager would set up a slow defence for a team whose only threat are quick counters.

It is time for Pep to go we have been shit for well over a year.

I'm not buying into the players are not good enough, lower teams came here and did well against that shower of shite.

Pep is on the decline and there are no players out there can bail out his relic tactics. So, spending another 500m on players wont fix the problem.

I'm confident there are managers out there can do much better with the current squad

Missed the game completely. Wasnt confident to start with ( i never am ) and in many ways its groundhog day with Pep always wanting to change things.
The starting line up was a big risk and Utd with Carrick back as manager was always going to be a case of silencing the crowd first. Given up trying to understand Pep, so aint going to bother. Wrote this season off back in September

And 7 games ? that Haaland hasn't scored from open play - worse still , his touch and control is just as worrying.

This terrible run we are on has resulted in fucking dippers within 5 points of us & even rags only 8 looking at that display today wouldn’t be surprised if dippers caught up. I know we have Guehi but not confident Pep will get best out of him, probably play him at LB

The defensive selection was a fucking abomination.

But looking at our midfield and forward line I thought we had enough firepower to at least outscore them.

But not one of our cunting cunt players had any fight in them. Second to everything. No desire, no getting stuck in.

Pep and all his staff and every single player apart from Donna are a disgrace and should be embarrassed with that today.

Could have at least put in some dirty tackles of our own. Didn't even do that
