No idea what Pep said at half-time, but I'm sick to death of this same old pattern of play - one decent/great first half, then a complete fucking disgrace in the second. It can't be anything other than instructions from the manager to switch to this ultra negative, passive shite—it makes zero sense otherwise.
As for Marmoush… I called it laughable when baldy let Julián Álvarez go, and this is the muppet he replaces him with. Overall, the signings have been shit.

After working out the pathways, here's who Manchester City will play in the last-16:

One of Benfica, Bodo-Glimt, Inter Milan or Real Madrid.
There's only one mancity and one mancityfans.net

Born blue, still a blue and will die a blue...........

But i don't understand you Carl. City won and have managed to reduce the number of games in the run in for four competitions. What am i missing ?

Laughable.

Shows what a poor showing City have given so far.

Loads of opportunities tonight to put more on the scoreboard but the options taken were always the wrong ones.

I like Marmoush and Haaland playing as a pair, thought it worked well and we should have gone in 4 goals up at half time.

Second have they went man for man and we squandered many chances we had on the break, Unfortunate for Doku to go off but Cherki, Foden Alt Nouri were wasteful .

Silva had his best game for a long time. Ran the game well. Haaland did better tonight even after his miss in the first half. Glaringly obvious that we do not use him properly. His goal showed what balls he likes and what he is capable of. If i was Pep i'd be having a few words with one or two of them.

Serious doubts about Foden and whether it is worth keeping him. Very lightweight, without confidence he is a passenger, Not a fighter

Well Carl , i still play football, sometimes you have to bite the bullet and keep the ball rolling, not give anything away. Get the points.

As of now it is a knockout, City skip a round and can concentrate on three other comps. Better than being a rag fan eh ? Sod all to wait for until the next season

Rag fans are on cloud 9 at the moment. Fucked us over and then went on to fuck over Arsenal. They might pass us in the League and we haven't won anything yet. so after a few years of shite, their season has just turned around .

I just posted similar, it’s no coincidence that we have seen this countless times recently, play well for a spell get to HT & hey presto different performance 2nd half. It’s got to be down to the manager. We know he ain’t no motivator, but fuck me this looks like demotivation on steroids

Off the Beeb

Club Brugge or Glatasaray v Juventus or Atletico Madrid
Will play Sporting or Manchester City in last 16:

Not sure that’s accurate

Sorry, an on going joke if you are challenging my post....

There was a poster called City64 who was very obnoxious that who referred to anyone that wasn't a ST holder as being arm chair or tv fan........

He became so disliked for many reasons that he became known as cunt64.......

Please don't tell me you travel to games on Northern Rail, drive an Audi or get wankered before every home game.

In the top8 which was presumably the goal at the start. Could and probably should have scored more to increase the GD. In the end we had just enough but the margins were so fine that a late goal in the PSG match for either side or a late goal for Madrid and it wouldn’t have been. Perhaps a lesson can be learned of finish off the opponents and score as many as you can

Though the chances of us winning the thing are not high. But in a knockout format you never know
