Sure Bet

I feel sorry for the guy - his statement is sad, and even West Ham fans recognise on their boards that they were robbed of an insane talent by the mess the FA created and never really rectified

Was he an insane talent, though?
Remember Milan was doing everything in their power to get rid.
Imho, same as Gibbs White, the lack of world class orchestrators in todays game creates some kind of hype of players that are decent, but that is about it.

It's not often City get it wrong - he played for West Ham and stood out, were it not for the betting nonsense he would have got the opportunity to shine at a much higher level, and Milan was much earlier in his career

Palace have apparently bid £50M for Strand Larson. Who has scored 1 PL goal all season!!!!!!

They honestly would be better with Sterling for free. They’d both be shite but at least they wouldn’t have spunked £50M.

The Palace chairman needs shooting if he pays that

Palace are falling apart. If Wharton is on our list, then we should move on that.

Absolutely gutted about this. A tremendously gifted player and I wish him all the best. I think he will star in the World Cup in a very good Norway side. I can’t quite believe we’ve let him go. I have a feeling it will be another Palmer scenario, we will see.

Different to Palmer. Bobb's career progress stalled through major injury. I hope he gets back to becoming a great player. As it is he's still a 'good prospect' in my mind.
His game time would be limited at City now so £27 million is good business.

Bobbs done nothing since the injury. Pep liked him and reckon he would have played most weeks if he hadnt got injured. Shame and hope he cracks on.

His performance versus Spuds and that save probably brought us the title.
Was part of the treble run, he looked a really nice bloke and a true pro. Never a starter, but a backup who was there when he was needed. That video with him smashed with the fans will forever be one of my favorites.

Best of luck to him, hope he plays well there and gets in the World Cup team in the summer.

Fantastic business. Had many chances after his injury, much more than Palmer (who there just wasn't room for) and McAtee (who wasn't very good). Didn't take them, leaving the incumbent theory that the goal at Newcastle was a freak and he's not good either!

Any player, young or old, that doesn't want to stay at City to fight for their place, can do one.

Absolutely. People have proved it can be done, most notably now by O'Reilly, formerly by Foden and Lewis
