The worst fixture of the 38 up today. Hate it. Every year we think this will be the year we win and every year we shit the bed. With the very rare exception.

Hope Foden isn’t even on the bus. He’s been worse than poor lately and needs time out. I wouldn’t start Haaland either and if Ake gets left in Manchester it wouldn’t be the worst.

The only thing I’m confident of today is we won’t win. Can see a horror show as it goes

4-0

A win would be nice today and set up Wednesdays match against Fulham up (Making sitting in the freezing cold all the more worth it) and I honestly believe we will get a win there. OKJ we aren't firing on all cylinders but neither are they.

3-1 City and tears at bedtime for Slots mob.

Scouse ,like city recently tend to lose it in the second half. So , perhaps if pep does his half time talk before the match, city can really go for it in the second half. Anyways, one goal, of any type ,og , wild deflection or brilliant more than scouse , will do for me.

As soon as the team is announced we'll have a good idea how this one is going to pan out. No passengers for this one or we're in deep shit. That means no Haaland unless cherki and reinjders both start. Hopefully marmoush up front and nico g in the middle. Murphys law suggests we might get the win. 2-1 City.

Will go the same way as most games this season . First half ok but will fade second half. It will be a more open game, end to end and Scousers will be spurred on by their crowd. We don't usually get anything at Anfield, can't see anything in our performances that improve our chances. Our team are not fighters to a man so we wont grind out a result or hold a lead.
I expect a few contraversial decisions to go the murderers way and Pep will be moaning at the end

Woke up this morning with a feeling of impending doom.
Will be watching the game with my hands over my eyes peeking through my fingers from behind the settee.
I detest these horrible murdering self entitled scum. Won’t be able to breathe unless the unthinkable happens and we are 4-0 up with 4mins left to play.
According to Pep he insists we are close to realising our true potential??? He obviously sees things completely differently than I do. I live in hope. C’mon you blues come out fighting for the full 90 minutes

No prediction from me. Except that it could be 3 nil either way

VAR will likely stitch us up

Your line-up to take on Liverpool!

XI | Donnarumma, Nunes, Khusanov, Guéhi, Ait-Nouri, Rodri, Bernardo (C), O’Reilly, Semenyo, Marmoush, Haaland

SUBS | Trafford, Dias, Reijnders, Ake, Cherki, Nico, Foden, Alleyne, Lewis

Can't argue with that at all, I can genuinely see us getting a win here for a change.

I think that is a terrible lineup, looks like another system test and trial.

We'll see.

Does seem like Cherki can be more effective coming on later, sometimes

No Foden and no Lewis gives us a great chance IMHO.

Nice solid looking XI with a bit of pace with Marmoosh and Semenya off Haaland.

Cherki, Reindeer and Foden (if he shows up) to chuck on when they're tired and hopefully chasing the game when we're ahead.

Already got money on Rodri and Bern getting booked too.
