8PM KO tonight remember

Think we go out tonight. We’ll have more than an eye on the CL game in Madrid on Wednesday. I know Newcastle will also have an eye on their CL match on Tuesday, but we do have form in the cup for putting out really weakened teams

This is a competition we actually have a decent chance of winning as well. Expect to see Foden and Ake stink the place out once more.

Statistically we are due a defeat in the cup outside Wembley seeing as how we’ve reached the semifinals for the last 7 years!!!

2-0

As far as I can remember he usually puts out fairly strong teams in the cup competitions. It’s the combination that will be interesting. I’m hopeful, we are a better team we just need to perform. Tough tie at theirs though.

How do we get the late Saturday kick off, away when we have a european game on weds. You'd hope for an earlier kick off no?
Sick of playing Newcastle, seems like every other week. Not looking forward to seeing Dan Burn put Haaland in his back pocket.
I suspect Pep will try something odd tk rest players for the game against Madrid. Rico Lewis, Marmoush, will start. Newcsstle will do us 3-1

Feel for the masses who will already be en route. Will be a cracking atmosphere though with all the pissed up blues.

Can see a total mis-mash of a line-up wirh the trip to Madrid on Wednesday. Hope I'm wrong as the domestic cups remain our best bet for a trophy.

When does he put out really weakened teams.
We're practically always in the later stages

Perhaps disjointed might be a better phrase

It’s often a back four that in their own right are reasonable and decent players but they have never played together. The same in midfield. Lewis Foden and Nico G are all capable on their day but don’t work together. As an example

It was his best game for a long time . A nice cross for Reilly but he didn't score and Burn handled him, literally, pretty well.
Haaland got the plaudits because he was playing in defence against Burn and dropped back to get the ball . His heat map was pretty well spread around the pitch. It'll be interesting if that Haaland turns up tonight

Last time we lost a KO FA cup game that was not at Wembley was against Wigan many years ago. He will go very strong

How the fuck does that happen? Two ways its going to go he either doubles down and creates more controversy or he feels guilty and gives us a soft decision or two. His decisions will be talking points.

Full strength team, Madrid are crap at the moment and have four important players one yellow card away from a second leg ban.

We seem to have the Indian Sign on them in cups. I think we'll play a weak team and win :D

Hope you are correct, however these days it’s subjective to say what is a weak team e.g our idea or the managers idea, feel there is a credibility gap there.
