It was a great win for them last night. Think(?), they are due to meet winners of the forest porto game in thei semis. Hope Villa go all the way for the reason you say, providing we are still in the mix at that point. Big weekend this weekend for us

And the lion will lay down with the lamb.

It's wolf, not lion.

I've got the remastered version, it has bonus tracks.

The only things holding Villa back are misfiring strikers like Watkins and aging players they need to replace, they are going balls deep with this cup I reckon but there is a caveat to my opinion and that caveat is it depends very much how close the league is because the owners would want a run in the chumps league before even winning the mickey mouse one.

You forget that winning this mickey mouse cup gets Villa into the chumps league next season just as Spuds from last year. One way or the other, Villa will be in chumps league next year which may save them from having to sell either Warkins or Rogers.

5th place now officially qualifies for the UCL. The Chavs now have something to play for. Impeccable timing.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Tbf, we were always likely to get 5 again. Nothing changes for us, we have to win every game to stand a chance and keep the pressure on the arse.

I'm not disputing that mate and you know what you are probably right, but Villas upcoming fixtures could see the scouse take 4th and the chavs take 5th if they manage to get a wiggle on.

Martin O'neill threw the UEFA cup under the bus for a failed push on the chumps league I don't think Villa fans have forgiven him for that yet. Fucking up isn't unheard of at the business end of the season.

Again you're probably right but it's not a given and Villa have a lot of work to do to get where they want.

They're at Forest Sunday, let's see how they do. I still think they'll finish above 1 of Chelsea and the murderers, even though the murderers will be out of europe next week.

Anything that puts the scouse out are good for me, I'd even accept the chavs in 5th position to see them fail.

Don't want them out of Europe, just the money spinning UCL. Need them to be playing every Thursday/Sunday. We have seen how having no midweek games can make the shittest of teams (rags) look much better than they actually are, due to more rest and more time to prepare

This for me too. Although, the downside is they'd likely then get chumps league by winning the Europa / Conference which is EXACTLY what Uefa were after so they could still help the old G14 clubs who fall on hard times in their domestic leagues. Shameless, corrupt bunch of twats.

PSG looking good value, should be ahead but just missing that last ball in to get a clear cut chance. Salah not lost the ability to dive but not fooling the ref

Anfield in full voice as the commentators disappear in a flurry of vinegar strokes and love-bites.

And WOW that is NOT a penalty at all, it's just a shocking dive.

Justice has been done, if that penalty would have been given it would have been no less than corrupt. The commentators are livid and besides themselves.

Great stuff :)
