Highlights of the game against Forest where Rodri was sent off for his alleged "use of the head" with Gibbs-White. And guess who the ref was who couldn't wait to brandish the red card????
carl_feedthegoat wrote:So, a player can now direct a clear forward headbutt on one of our players and it's just a fucking yellow, is it? If Haaland had gone down theatrically, it would have been a straight red card.
This is exactly why players exaggerate fouls — if you stay on your feet and act decently, you get fuckall from the bent officials.
If that was me, I'd roll on the ground from one end of the pitch to the fucking other end and get him sent off.
It stinks

Very happy to see Pep settle on his starting eleven. If Jeremy calms down abit and is more considered with his final ball, we would be cruising.
Toe to toe in the second half when they had to come out and throw caution to the wind and actually play football and we were not found wanting. A great win, some standout performances but plenty of points left to play for so we know there are plenty of twists to come.
Don't get too complacent, he's promised changes

That isn't boasting it's just a confident assessment of what I believe will happen.
A Bernie masterclass will go down a treat please.

Nickyboy wrote:We could rest Rodri if he's got a knock for Burnley and Saints and let Nico G cover without too much drop off.
Bernardo might need a rest considering the ground he covers so maybe put Ait Nouri LB and Nico into midfield for either Burnley or Saints.
Maybe get Foden in for Doku or Semenyo for one of the games too, but only if the sports science geeks think they need a rest.
But don't tinker too much. After this midweek game we're on one game a week for the rest of the season so needs to play the same team as much as possible barring injury now.

I wouldn't be resting any in the league. Against Southampton bring in the likes of Marmoush, but in the league I don't want to see players like Savio playing. The decision to bring him on yesterday was bizarre

…..and where was he covering the left wing when the cross came in for the Havertz header at the death, he’s fucking useless. Brilliant performance overall though, did what we have to do and win.
