Like a giant Savinho. Brilliant down the wing, fuckin useless near the penalty area (except one game against us)

If he can offer the same fight and passion that bellamy did, I'm all for it. Doesn't seem like the kindest individual but we desperately need more fighters in our team

If we do sign him, this lineup seems pretty promising for the season

Nunes - Khus - Guehi - Gvardiol/ORilley

Bouaddi - Anderson - Fernandes

Cherki - Haaland - Semenyo/Doku

--------------------

Bouaddi - Anderson - Fernandes in the middle would definitely not see us overrun

Looks very like Enzo is more or less wrapped up.

I just remember Guéhi being very bad :)

He's clearly identified that without Rodri the midfield is very lightweight and full of attacking players, shipped a few out and looking for some more 'hard' players.

Centre mid was my position and, without having to be a Frank Lampard, anybody can fuckin attack. It's defending that's the hard bit and protecting the defence.

Some of the world's top midfielders can't do it.

I'm hoping that we don't repeat that experiment tonight and will put the same in the match thread.

Guehi made 1 very bad mistake.
Nico G was very bad.

Slap 120 on the table for Wharton. Test Palaces resolve. He is perfect for us.

I reckon 75 would get them interested, enough to talk at least. 95-100 would then be a great deal for us...he is class.

I like Wharton and he would do a good job for us. He gets about the pitch and keeps the ball moving. Even at these prices, I think we would struggle to do a deal this late in the window. Interesting that Maresca name checked him when talking about Cherki's performance.

I can't move this, but looks like he's deserving of his own thread now, so I'll start one

He's got at least 12 goals/assists in each of the last 3 PL seasons.
