Midweek EFL Cup Games

Thought these games be worth a thread, Ipswich v Arsenal & Dippers v Spurs tonight & of course Rags v Brighton tomorrow. Be interesting to see how the rags perform after the injustice of the derby :lol: :lol:

For our younger readers I remember watching Brighton v Rags back in the day.in the FA Cup final . The teams were level, in the last minute a ball was played to Gordon Smith in the rag penalty area, it was an open goal, “ there’s someone at the far post it’s Gordon Smith” he had to score, but missed. Rags went on win the cup after replay. Guess who signed Gordon Smith after?

Out of sheer entertainment, I watched the full match. Second half when that buck toothless Freddy Mercury look alike came on as a sub, I'm sure the commentator said "Fernandes has had a really good start to the season" GTF you rat faced a hole.

When they scored twice early I knew they'd collapse and they did, they really are shite and it wouldn't surprise me if they were in a relegation battle come the end of the season.
