And a similar dynamic is what will keep Carrick employed. A clueless yes man - sacked from middlesbrough - who would never throw a fit publicly that their back line hasn't changed or improved in 7 years. His subs (and lack of them) were shockingly bad yesterday and showed quite clearly how out of his depth he is. But since he played for them, it gives the owners cover. And long may it continue

They would then have to potentially spend huge sums on players and will certainly have a massively inflated wage structure which if they are then subsequently relegated again can put them under huge financial stress.

Getting Ineos and scruffy Jim on board was a masterstroke by the Glazers. Puts a buffer between them and the fans. What makes it even sweeter is we continue to show them up with the way we do business and it shines a big fuck off light on their failings.
