I would keep an eye on David Independent Kogan’
He has very strong links over a close two 20 years working with the Premier League. His credibility is completely diminished.

I found this interesting when the premier league were after the new deal.

TV deal figures
• Previous domestic live rights (2010-13): ~£1.77–1.78bn (Sky + ESPN/Setanta).
• New deal (2013-16): £3.018bn (Sky + BT).
• Increase: ~£1.25bn / ~70%. Confirmed by BBC, SportsPro and contemporary reporting.
Scudamore’s actual comments (June 2012, right after the deal)
Contemporary reports show he linked the dramatic 2011/12 season (including City’s final-day title win via Aguero’s injury-time goal) to the strong timing and value of the deal:
• Irish Examiner: He believed “the thrilling climax to last season, when Manchester City won the title on the final day, was a significant factor in the recession-busting 70% increase.” He said: “We have just come off the back of a fantastic season and, yes, it has been good for us.”
• Swiss Ramble (citing him): “We couldn’t have gone to market at a better time.” The piece explicitly ties Aguero’s goal and the season’s drama to the record deal.
The graphic’s longer quote (“The thrilling, injury-time climax to the title race contributed to the increased value of the deal and helped drive the competitive bidding frenzy…”)

If we get relegated then I’ll want a huge chunk of revenue from each club given back to us.

Won't be relegated.
Even Masters knows it.
Only question is: will he be grilled on a real court of law and left ashamed and exposed to justify to his main handlers (MUFC, LFC, AFC, THFC) a roughly 100 mil total legal fees to be reimbursed as convicted defendant?

They would relegate us in a heart beat if given the chance.
Even though it will do damage to the league their hate jealousy and resentment is so deep, so entrenched they will accept any level of commercial damage to get rid of us.
We're not winning any Premier league driven appeal, only chance is the high court.

The strategy all along looks to have been this as the outcome.

I don’t understand why they are so hell bent on it, removing us would be commercial suicide - we’re one of the most watched teams and then there would be an avalanche of sky sports contracts cancelled

Anyway, relegate us for a season and we would survive it, so they are trying a dirty trick of not being able to come back up

They lost silverware and a shitload of money because of us.
And, I believe, because our ownership is not american based. If we were from the US, there was a maximum transfer ban. How many cartel league teams are now us-owned? 12

The world's big clubs never wanted another player at their table. They tried with UEFA, now they are trying locally.

But I agree with sheblue, they want us extinct. They want us to be an example of what happens when you take on the big boys.
Conspiracy or not, look what happened to Dortmund in the early 00s, but most of all, with Valencia and Deportivo when they went for the crown.

It's out of logical desperation, mate.
And I don't mean desperation of the fans but desperation of CEOs.
Think of it. ADUG have built the perfect Club, which burning the grass on their soil.
They are bleeding fans after fans, hundreds thousands of them across the world, and they have realised that in a further decade of this level of sustained unprecedented success, their commercial revenue will no longer suffice to serve the humongous debt they have amassed trying to remain relevant on the world stage.
This is the third generation of built, first was Bobby's Yaya, Silva, Aguero, Dzeko, then it gets even stronger with Pep's KDB & Co.
The present announces itself as even better with Haaland Anderson, Bouaddi, Cherky, Doku, Ndyaie and the likes.
They are fighting for their lives. Half a pie is better than starvation.

Man City dares the appeal panel to question Abu Dhabi government documents if they dare.

According to The Telegraph, Manchester City's appeal could force the panel to question the authenticity of documents supplied by the Abu Dhabi government, potentially creating diplomatic friction between the UK and Abu Dhabi.

City already found guilty of major financial breaches and claim to have "irrefutable evidence" to prove innocence argued That original panel was wrong to dismiss Abu Dhabi government documents and 24 witnesses that prove sponsorship money came from the Abu Dhabi government itself, not owner Sheikh Mansour's company ADUG.

They called the deals "sham" and put themselves under even greater pressure.

Now the appeal panel must decide: Do you trust official Abu Dhabi government bank statements and letters? If they say no, it is effectively calling a foreign government unreliable. If they say yes, City could be cleared.

The case could complicate proceedings in a way that could benefit City, while UK-UAE relations with £30bn investment are already strained.

Man City’s appeal becomes a diplomatic issue

Here is my take:
There is no doubt in my mind that the Abu Dhabi governments backing for these sponsorship deals has been paid back to them via a myriad of arrangements on home soil by mansour - it’s up to the PL to prove that, which they obviously haven’t, which is why the board were confident to use the term “opinion” in their statement, a very loaded term - so there is a chance there might be another twist to come, no evidence the money is traceable back to Mansour, no evidence he backed the sponsorships, no case of “sham” contracts, we might be celebrating yet lads
