Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!
by Wooders » Thu Mar 25, 2010 8:18 am
Don't blame the tactics, don't blame the players, don't even be tempted to praise and up for it Everton.
the blame lies solely at my feet because :-
For the first time this season, yesterday afternoon I decided to put my money where my mouth is and make a 10 pound bet with a mate that City wouldn't get beaten at home all season
The first fucking game since the bet was made and I am ten pounds lighter. If it wasn't for me we'd have dicked them last night. I *never* win bets when it comes to city, NEVER.
All I can do is apologise profusely.

UNGH....... I learneed my lesson about ten years ago.....NEVER BET ON CITY.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Wooders, I have to take some of the blame also, please don't let it all be on your shoulders mate.
I go to the games with my son and daughter. We have a ritual of entering the turnstiles as follows:
1. Turnstile must be the left one
2. Daughter in first
3. Son second, he inserts his card into the slot
4. Me third, I swipe my card in front of the machine.
We have done it this way EVERY game this season.
Unfortunately, last night, my daughter went in through the right hand turnstile... I think in her head she was testing the superstition.
Never ever will this happen again, I just hope we haven't broken the Karma now though.

The little lad has never seen city lose since I started taking him. You can place the blame squarely at his feet for being sick in my car as we were setting off, so we turned round and I spent the night cleaning the car and watching a shite stream.
The bad news is, just to warn you in advance he is also on holiday with his gran for the Wigan and United game. Sorry.

We'll have to kidnap him and get him back. I know a couple of guys in Pakistan that could do the job..........on no wait a minute, never mind.

No no, it's my fault. Last night I forgot to listen to the Doves three times consecutively on the way to watch the game !

I thought it was my fault for watching them sober for the first time in about 20 years.

Well then it's definitely
your fault. What were you thinking of ? It's always good to have a little 'buzz' watching the game !
