We already have a manager in place who can do that and it won't be as boring as how Jose would go about it.

Mourinho isn't some kind of footballing god as everyone makes him out to be.

His sides that have been successful with Porto and Chelsea he has inherited from previous managers. Last years Seria A title was Mancini's team.

Maybe they've had a brain fart and forgotten that we should be trying to win trophies, not popularity contests? I dont give a monkeys whether I like a manager or not, I care about whether my team wins.

I've spent 30 years watching us "develop through the academy" and be "everyone's second team" and of course "the cup for cock-ups" winners. In that time we've won the square route of sweet fucl all, and now is our time to start winning things again as we have a huge advantage in limitless wealth. Mourinho would be my number 1 choice as a result in managing the resources we have, end of.

Mourinho's record is unquestionable, at every club he's been at, in 3 different countries. He would bring great players with him, raise the clubs profile another zillion notches - which I am sure would appeal to Sheikh Mansour - and get every players attention.

Already said he is a good manager, theres no doubting that, just not having it that he is portrayed as some kind of managerial messiah that we need to win trophies.

Looking at Inter's and Roma's fixtures i will go out on a limb and say they won't win the league this year. I hope then that if that does happen that will be the end of the "mourinho will take us to the promise land, he is the only one that can" comments.

They are 4 points clear of Roma and have a vastly superior goal difference too... would love Roma to win the League though, always had a soft spot for the City and the team.
