Ireland has had 1 good season - we need to come to terms with the fact he isn't the messiah.
After Grannygate and the bizarre car conversions thats probably true as well!
Am I the only one who thinks Irelands body language on the field is absolutely effin awful at present? Both he and SWP, if they are sulking, need to either get over it or look elsewhere because City will keep moving onwards and upwards and they need to decide if they want to knuckle down, or give up. Sadly, at present, neither of them merit a starting place.

Think that one went way over heads .......

BUT ,and its a big but, he doesnt seem to be able to get on the ball with any time to play. Tonight he wasn't really in the play making role as he was further forward. That was a gamble Mancini took and it didn't pay off. Watching Stevie tonight I thought again he was mostly lost and confused about when to get forward and when to hold back.
Too often I thought he was was up top as if he was a striker when we all know he is at his best making late runs into spaces. When he did drop off he just didn't find space and I thought often was in other people's space and not in great positions to receive passes.

Are You sure about that, aren't You?
Fact is that Mancini's ideal system of play provided for a playmaker well before, You Douglas Higginbottom, even start knowing he existed.
Whether is arguable if should be considered a wise idea to build a team around a single player (even if the player was messi i.o. ireland), because such a great single person might always suddenly implode for whatsoever reason, there is certainly no one clue why a professional, professionally involved in football, should even only consider to apply such an idea to what Steven ireland has proven in professional football!
If criticism is to be directed to Mancini about this particular issue, there must only be because he did spend too many times and official games (with official points awarded) to acknoledge that Ireland is currently useless.
Nonetheless, I still bear the idea that, if the employer shall continue to act professionally toward the Club, he will be offered a full season to prove, on the pitch, he might step over according to his talent.
Of course whether F**k SAF, Arsene or the Russian won't invest all their pennies to stole him... :-)))))
Besides, it looks like another "Robinho's world class" syndrome is getting start.
Instead, we should all start to metabolize that MCFC has been set (by the Owner) to aim to the top.
This means that everybody involved, from the manager and downward must be up to fit the setting. At least if MCFC has to arrive up where is aimed to.
And this, out of any possible and/or polemic misunderstanding, has nothing to do with being as arrogant as U****d, before....

You Know Doom, I am ignorant and actually don't know what pisstake means, neither if when a shit becomes amazing it get a complimentary accent. My name is Roger (Ruggero) and not Patrick.
That said, I tried several times to play fair with Douggy Douggy. Since You read his recent posts, You won't be arsed to assess where the will to wind someone up is....
Thus I did reply accordingly: a more diplomatic first attempt, a more clear as well as plainly aseptic second one.

brite blu sky wrote:my point is your language skills in english are not good enough to take apart other posters arguments and be coherent to native english speakers. I can sympathise with you as it took me 2 years of mostly just listening to be able to speak and write Castellano.. so i was trying to find a slightly humourous or sarcastic way of offering some advice that if you choose to question the words used by english posters, particularly ones that are quite eloquent anyway.. you just make yourself look ignorant imo.

I think the way we are playing now with a defensive mindset is Roberto's preferred choice and this way of playing is something we should get used to watching.
