Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Only the sending off changed what was a clueless, lackluster performance yet again by City, don't they bother practicing together thses days?
We were appalling.
I am City til I die,
I am City til I die,
I know I am,I'm sure I am,
I am City til I die.

The positives are that we got 3 points. That is obvious.
If the goal is to finish 4th, then we have to consider how we played and whilst we have got some great individuals, we are still not playing as a team. A better team than Wigan would have beaten us last night.

If we can win all our remaining games 3-0 and still be crap then I'll be quite happy with that.

Oh sorry were we watching a different game?
we were lucky not to go 2 goals behind,Toure and Kompany had'nt a clue how to handle their 'ordinary' strikers........we will have to greatly improve before the Rags pay us a visit.

Dont agree mate, Bellamy changed the game, and even without the sending off we would have scored eventually

Although I'd like to see better football, I can only agree with your sentiments Leanne.

In typical City fashion though Crossan we most likely will play a fantastic mind blowing game against Manure. It's what we do, things the hard way.
The first half WAS dire, and yes they could have got two. However they didn't and thank fuck we have Tevez.
I haven't a fecking clue what I'm doing! Gillie come back man I want my sig back. As the Photobucket thingy gone?

And you deserve a slap round the head...never known anything like it in my life...comfortable win no matter what you say to the contrary yet here you are acting like the vilified press making excuses for it...instead of getting behind the boys and congratulating them on a hard fought victory
you couldn't make it up

To be fair, Crossan was ALWAYS like that. Why good percentage of formerly positive posters choose to moan after wins is what I can't get my head around.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

And the negative posters are always positive after a loss.
The board has turned upside down!

You speak like BTAJim. I have no idea what that meant? These moaners moan after losses, draws AND wins. I count myself into the moaners and whiners group, yet I've never been anything but happy when we've won. That has never changed.

In 10 years time...when you look in the history books and see 29th March 2010 City 3 Wigan 0 you will describe it as a comfortable win...whether you want to be contentious about it or not...just no pleasing some people

And you will also see a 2-0 home defeat to Everton in the previous game. Two very similar levels of performances from us, with very different results. It all depends on the opposition I suppose. Funny game football !!

Funny old game indeed...... I mean in which other sport does the outcome depend on quality of opposition!

Exactly my point, or did you not see the irony? You have to look beyond the result and look at the performance. Against better opposition, we will not win playing like we did last night.
