He has been useless tonight. A SHADOW.

I have to agree he does not look like the same player. Real are going to win nowt. Just not a team despite all the money they have spent.

Where is Kaka??? Is he injured??

As have most of the Real players. Massive disappointment, it hasn't even been a contest.

I thought Madrid might shade it but they haven't shown anything.

Only 400 Barca fans there, what's that all about. Is that shit allocation or just a shite away following??

Its not really a done thing over there to go away. I think due to being such a big country, it would be like travelling to portsmouth every other week for away games.

Oh, that Xavi. What a player, so much of what they do comes through him. Messi could still score goals on his own just like Tevez does for City, but what would our Carlos do with someone like Xavi playing behind him! Like the Stephen Ireland of last year or the Michael Johnson of next year, maybe. Every really successful team has had that playmaker, and City (good as they are) haven't got one yet. Wish Ali Benarbia could take ten years off his age. Imagine him threading balls through for the front men to run onto, they'd be near unbeatable.

That Xavi smacks my gob - a stunning player, and probably a bigger difference between the teams than Messi. Apparantly, 7 of the squad were home grown players.

A collection of great players against one great team.

Theres usually only one winner.

We need to follow the settled model of Barcelona of the last 5 or 6 years. Spend money on superstars, use youth players for squad rotation rather than journeymen, follow their defensive set up.
