I can relate to a lot of that chief... if you'd checked this site before you left, you'd have gotten a lift with us and drank all the way to Manchester..
The result was poxy and it was a tough trip, but you're bang on about the city fans, they're the best in the world when it comes to looking after each other.

Left my phone charger at home and phone packed up during the match (cant begin to tell you how much hassle that caused me), got your message when I got home and was gutted we didnt hook up. Despite the result I thoughly enjoyed the trip and hopefully we will meet up for another game, think I will just get a season ticket next season if business stays healthy.

At the end of the game I just sat in my seat while the stadium emptied

great report mate, in hindsight im glad my flight was cancelled i was in OT for the 4.3 game i couldnt take another last min loss in my sitting room let alone being there.
What you reckon are the all in costs of having a season ticket?i can afford the ticket but its the travel im not sure of. I was thinking 19 home games all day trips at 100e a pop travel means 1900 plus the 500ish for the ticket means 2.5k. Anytime ive gone over theres been a decent bunch on the planes so am contemplating doing it(im also hoping my job will pay for my season ticket but thats another thing!),what are your thoughts on the cost element?
