Come home early from work as we were dead and I was working extra. Good job too as I wasn't concentrating and at this rate I'm going to be spending the afternoon sat on the dunny. C'mon City, for once make me feel elated after spending days as a bag of nerves

It's in my blood to be pessimistic, I don't think that will ever change thanks to the shit I've had to endure over the last 20 years.

Still excited as fuck and 200% behind the boys in blue.

Problem is, we need it more than them. They're going to win a title in the next 5 years whatever happens. For us to grow we desperately need it.

Having said that, they have to win and we can draw so it's about even.

This quote from the above link got me, we really do need to win this one, a draw WILL NOT DO!

Yes I saw that too,its crucial that Spurs secure the 4th spot or even possibly 3rd as its do or die, they do not have the long term financial backing that we have,it is win, win, win City for me.
Yes I am bloody nervous btw.
I am City til I die,
I am City til I die,
I know I am,I'm sure I am,
I am City til I die.

Not felt this nervous about a match for ages..... one minute I feel fine, and think it'll be ok, if not this year we'll do it next. Then I think about all the crap that we'd get for failing to get 4th from the media, and I then decide that this is a MUST WIN game, and my stomach does a few flips, as it lands get's tied in a knot, and then my arse decides to decides to twitch followed by a drop!!!

I'm too nervous to even make a prediction through fear of jinxing it.... I just really hope that tonight is as special as we would all like it to be..... I for one will be singing like one hell of a bastard to do everything I can to help the team!

I am not a religious person but I have been praying to God while eating my ice finger (Gregg’s ones are defo the best) “please God just for once let it be City” I do hope that he is listening and that my Granddad is sat next to him giving him a nudge…………

Butterflies are kicking in now, been in two minds for last few days of whether to go or not (for non-football reasons too) but just couldn't miss this. I've never wanted us to win as much as today and that includes derby games, it hurts just thinking of drawing or loosing this game.

As Doris Day sang: Que sera sera, whatever will be, will be.

Whatever happens today and on the weekend, I am happy with our season's performance and we are guaranteed Europa League
which will be a sort of a practice run for the CL.
However still optomistic we can do it and get 4th.
