Bellamy shaking hands with Redknapp...

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Bellamy shaking hands with Redknapp...

Postby hyper » Wed May 05, 2010 9:08 pm

Nothing wrong with good sportsmanship, but to be grinning seems a little odd. I'd imagine our players should at least be pretending like they give a flying fuck. Did anyone see it? I only got this from the BBC coverage:

2158: Craig Bellamy wears a huge grin as he shakes hands with Spurs boss Harry Redknapp. Interesting... And it will be interesting to see who's still at Eastlands next season. Bellamy? Tevez? Mancini?

Bellers is a real pro and will be hurting bigtime. But it shouldnt mean he doesnt shake hands with twitchy .

I saw it and I wouldn't describe it as a huge grin. More like the common courtesy you'd show any person you know. The smile disappeared fast enough anyway.

Some fucking knob at the BBC (more and more of those about sadly) trying to make up a story where there is nothing.

I don't care who he shakes hands with to be honest. But for sure the gutter press will have a feast over this one.

Or possibly he's just a spiteful little cunt who is missing giving Hughes a rim job every week and wanted to make a point.

Probably just remembering that he joined us and not Spurs to win trophies and get in the Champions League.
He is a born competitor and often does that after hard-fought losses. There is nothing wrong with some healthy sportsmanship.

He might have mentioned the bollox that Twitchy came out with about wanting to sign him

Maybe it was a "We're in the Champions League eh boss!" *big grin* as he heads to Spurs next season.
"Like all bullies, they've just found out that there is a much bigger guy in town, someone who is richer and more powerful than their worst nightmare. And this smiling Arabic assassin is intent on stealing all the treasures they've nicked off everyone else, and pulverising them into commercial and footballing oblivion as he does so."

DH

If he was a real pro he would have gone off when injured at about 30 minutes.

Doug - you go and watch the training...from the same distance as every other person that goes.
The way you come out with your comments such as this one anyone would think you were the only fucking person watching training and seeing what was going on and actually have us believe YOU ARE IN THE KNOW on such matters.

Hilarious.

Regardless, he needs to be more tactful and act like he gives a shit in circumstances such as these. He was acting like a Spurs player the way he was carrying on. Not good and not 'what I wanted to see', just what I saw.
