To be fair to Bellers his corners were pretty toss tonight. To get conspiratorial on him about smiling at the Twitch is stretching it a bit though.

I didn't suggest there was a conspiracy, I just said that I thought it was ill judged and poorly timed, I stand by that.

Seriously.. I can't fathom how unbalanced one has to be, to come up with conspiracy theories concerning Bellamy and Harry. How on earth did Bellers pull it off? What.. did he miss crosses on purpose? Really? Carl.. seriously.. think about the insanity of your suggestions.

Furthermore, to insult Douglas, who has put so much time into going to training and keeping us informed, is just "beyond the pale". It's wrong, and just plain sick.

We lost. Fine. Go do whatever you have to in order to cope, but don't abuse people here who have done nothing but help.

Ok, say what you like Carl. I get it.. you're upset. However, upon re-reading this thread, I have yet to understand why you are attacking Douglas? As I said, he is an upstanding member of this board, by all accounts. Further, he has said nothing inflammatory, and has only politely argued against your original insinuation (concerning the handshake/smile), so I am at a loss to explain your low behavior.

Bellamy played wank tonight as did another 5 or 6 players. The occasion got to them which has proved to me and the rest of the country that they are not good enough to even manage 4th spot in the league. Fuck the Europa League next season, play the kids, buy a shit load of quality players and ensure we get in the top four.

In other words, you have no response to reason, and have simply decided to answer me with an insult?

Bravo Carl.

Anyway, I'll leave you to your senseless vitriol.

2158: Craig Bellamy wears a huge grin as he shakes hands with Spurs boss Harry Redknapp. Interesting... And it will be interesting to see who's still at Eastlands next season. Bellamy? Tevez? Mancini?

From what I seen tonight compared to Saturday, Bellers wanted off when Shaun came on (he was stretching down and looked at Mancio as if he'd just shit in his mouth), and Carlos actually give up prior to them scoring (totally give up after 87 minutes and in the last 4 moved further away from the ball than the hotdog sellers).

I didn't believe it until tonight but there are a couple of players who want away and I think Carlos was one of them. I actually thought Carlos wanted to take over Nigel's position, he was that deep, as if he didn't want to score. However, it may have been tactics or because he was fucked from all the first half running.

I'm as pissed off as the next lad, but we came within minutes of making the elite and we'll have a better team next season, so I'm down but I'm not in the form for berating the manager for a loss that was clearly decided by our lack of an attacking midfielder.

I also feel Tevez wants out. I also get the impression and I could be reading too much into it but I think he feels he deserves better than some of the players around him. He's busting his balls and coming so deep for the ball and one particular moment I saw him have the ball, he put his hands on his hips as there were no other runners he could pass to and in the end passed it back to defence and looked utterly fucked off. He did it as if he were to say "Fine, I'll pass it to the defence then, you utter cunts"

It's almost funny in a very sad way that after a defeat like tonight the usual reactions come from the usual places.Understandable as it hurts and some just can't control the anger and have to point the finger in the usual directions. Bellers largely it seems for the sporting handshake after the match , RSC for... well being RSC irrespective of his time on the pitch and then of course Hughes.
