Id say options more than a lack of ideas.

Anyway...RSC...Not really had a run in the team so not going to rip him to bits.
I think he would do well at Sunderland,Blackburn and other mid table teams but not City.

So you´re not including City in such teams then ;)

Fair comment - we gave it a great go last night and the crowd were ace.

it wasn't last night that cost us 4th - it was stupid results earlier in the season

where the fuck did I say we lost because of him? I quite clearly said it TWICE in this topic. Stop acting like some fucking cheerleader to these illiterate cunts asking why I blame him for the loss.

When Santa Cruz was signed I was against it. But tons of people, many who have already contributed to this topic moaning about manager, told me that he is going to be an impact player. Apparently we weren't going to lose games with him coming off the bench. Well fuck me, we could've done with some impact AGAIN last night like so many times he has come on the pitch. And AGAIN he gives nothing back for the Club. Nothing.

So I'm well within my means to say that he is absolute horseshit. Which he is. Only a proper fool would claim otherwise.

for the majority of the time he was on the pitch we didnt even have the fucking ball because our players were shot to pieces and already looked like losers! he had no service whatsoever, the same for tevez. this is just a stupid post, i think he has started 5 games this year...... 5!!! how the fuck is it possible to judge a player on that.

That is simply not true. Watch the end of the game again and you'll see what I mean.

And like I said in very first post, this isn't only about last nights game. This is about how godawful he has been for us. And anyone who tries to claim otherwise has got to be blind.

And started games are irrelevant. He was brought in as impact player, that's what Hughes said, and he has made no impact whatsoever. HUGE failure.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

You could say that Mancini was brought in to be impact player? Who said that? I don't recall anyone but tabloids speculating him being just someone warming the seat. And illusional supporters who think we can attract Mourinho.

started games are irrelevant?? come on now mate, thats just ridiculous.

ledley king was an absolute warrior last night, ade did nothing against him, nor did tevez, yet its santa cruz who was on the pitch for ten mins gets it in the neck.

i agree fully that he has been a disappointment this season, but in some ways i feel for him. he didnt ask to have that price tag, nor does he want to be injured. there has been flashes where he has shown exactly what he can do. i hope he is still here next year and i hope he gets a few more opportunities.

coming on as a sub at ANY level of football isnt easy.

Are you serious Mike?, you cant mean that surely. He is worse than useless, one of the worst strikers I have seen at City.

Has hed one anything in your opinion to warrant any sort of extended run?

well the fact that he has never actually had one warrants it for me. he hasnt had a chance to show what he can do in a run of games.

im just amazed he has become the main target of a few of the fans even though zabaleta and bridge have been fucking dreadful for a very long time.

Zabaleta was MOM on Saturday imo and has improved massively in last couple of months.

Not in a single way. RSC lost the ball immediately when he got the ball (not many times tho), we lost our shape and went from footballing side to long ball team. It was desperate stuff anyway.

Not sure it's Santa's fault but we do need to have better for next campaign.

That's the point isn't it. I was watching the match with my son and he asked me at some stage in the 2nd H, what do you have as alternatives on the bench and I said RSC and SWP and he said that's it ? We of course had 4 defenders on the bench and maybe if Mancini had thrown in Micah or Nedum and told them to go up front and create problems for Spurs, I'm sure they would both have done much better than Rocky. Both scored terrific goals this season after long runs from the back.
Its because of him we had to send away players like Bojinov and Caicedo (and even Benjani) on loan. Now I think I can make a good argument that any of these 3 coming on in the last 10-15 minutes of any match would have done a lot better than RSC. Absolute waste of money and if anything will always be the legacy that Hughes left the club.

That's the point isn't it! I'm not fan of Caicedo but either Bojinov or Caicedo would've actually run their bollocks off to show what they can do. Which they always did when they were in the Club. Santa Cruz is just raising his hands up when he traps YET ANOTHER ball 72 yards away.

Agree on Bridge based on his peformance all season. I think he has been the worst buy, second only to Rocky. Witness how he stopped and watched Kaboul when he took the shot at goal. Just stood there doing nothing and when the shot came in, he turned his back to the ball and did not recover in time to do anything useful.

Zabba at least has some good games as he did on Saturday. He also plays in more than 1 position which makes him very useful.
