Mancini now has the opportunity to build, something he did very well and very quickly at Inter, so let's see him get on with it!

Well that's exactly what I said but when are they going to confirm to everyone that he's staying? Why don't they announce it to prevent the press from shit stirring?

Did you hear anyone from City say anything though? All I've heard is the BBC saying someone told them he's staying. Who? Why can't they just tell us officially?

official City spokesperson confirmed it, why does it need formally announcing? this idea that the owner is trigger happy just because he sacked one manager is, frankly, outrageous and insulting!

Well you'll just have to be insulted then because the press aren't going to let up on it unless it's made clear to them.

Mancini has to answer the question in every interview. Why don't they help him & put an end to it, just a few public words would do?

It would seem common sense to me if Mancini is staying as I think he is , that the club would make an official statement to confirm it.

I heard what was said on 5 Live but there is no way that could be considered an official statement.

the man can hardly speak english, that must be a problem.
Arry has done a great job with spuds, he probably would had done the same with our team..

Mancini safe, Khaldoon told the players in the dressing room after the game, message already through to much of media - Fella at the Telegraph in article I put up before clearly knew as well as 5Lies. An interview with Khaldoon this afternoon will confirm Mancini's position.

Joke.

Good news if they're letting the press know anyhow. They can now get on with lying about which players he's going to sign or sell.

if we can get mourhino then sack mancini, if not we have too stick with him.

i never wanted mancini in the 1st place, but sacking him now for another average manager will just send out completely the wrong signals.

Anyone who mentions Hodgson really don't know what they are talking about. Flavour of the month.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Is this a joke thread?

People are seriously considering getting rid of Mancini over one defeat? Because, let's face it....if we'd have won last night, the very same people would be posting on here about how brightly the sun shines out of his arse.

I know people are hurting and this is a place to debate, but it's this sort of knee-jerk bollocks that makes me want to avoid the forums everytime we get stuffed.

Well said Saulman. If you'd said that 4 pages ago we could've saved a lot of grief!

Flavour of the season. Their exploits in Europe with a limited squad have been extraordinary. I'm not advocating him for City, though.

I'm not taking anything away from him but he is not nor has ever been really top quality manager. And he hates pressure. He has said so himself. He'd hate it in City.
