That tolmie bloke on bluemoon

Postby Nick » Thu May 06, 2010 2:08 pm

Who knows quite a bit, broke the news about khaldoon coming in.

I found it worrying that he said that players with well documented problems with mancini were pissed off that mancini is staying. One would be bellers, the other would be WORRYINGLY bellamy. He also said that mancini will deem players not good enough for us, but a couple of players will deem US not good enough for them (tevez??? ade??)

a Bluemoon rumour????? That goes against everything Bellamy himself said on media this week????

Sometimes I wonder whether you are thick or on a wind up.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I personally believe that tevez and bellers are not happy with mancini and its why theyve both been shit. That guy seems to know his shit. and to me its only CONFIRMED by the fact that both players did scripted interviews on the day of the spurs game. Does anyone really think tevez did that interview off his own back?

If tevez was allowed to leave, I really cant think of many positive for mancini. Bellers and ade im not arsed about. An unhappy tevez still gives more than any other player in the squad.

I don't know what he's basing that on but the only info we have on Bellamy & Tevez is interviews done by both, just a few days ago, saying they both wanted to stay & both wanted Mancini to stay. Of course they could both be lying but I don't know why they would bother, so close to the end of the season or what more they could do to try & stop the rumours tbh.

Not heard many other players at other clubs pledge their futures like that so far.

True im just over-reacting. Maybe if tevez wants to leave then so be and we build a new team of players that want to prove themselves and want CITY not money and rid the squad of the ££££££ players that hughes brought in.

Read the thread on there.

Theres some very good debate about how the issues with the club are with our inconsistent management structure, too many managers at the top and the fact that all of the squad did not know whether mancini would be here next season and all of a sudden they have now been told. IMO none of the board knew / thought mancio would be here and its very possible that they have been after Jose and may have had a knock back in the last few weeks.

We need consistency from the top down, and im not sure cook/ marwood are the right men for the job.

seriously mate, I know its hard to believe! A few pages on the management structure and cook and that guy basically confirms what I thought with Jose. I think the topic of the top management is more important than any of the threads on players. I have no idea how we can make it better but we need someone at the top who is also involved at the club day to day. And they ALL need to be singing from the same sheet.

Khaldoon : not around enough
Cook: Jury is out
Marwood: What does he actually do.

Cook and marwood are old boys. Its seems like its them two vs. the owners. And Cook was a 'hughes man'.

Bluemoon Bollox if u ask me.
There is almost certainly going to be a clear out of players this summer. We have too many who are not top quality earning crazy money and failing on the pitch regularly (RSC, Bridge, SWP) as well as a load of players not good enough for a top 4 team out on loan (Jo,Big Phil, Etuhu, Boj).
But Tevez and Bellers? I dont think so. Both have, in the last week pledged their futures to the club and imo, City is currently the best place for both players. Bellers' only realistic option that promises anything more to him at this late stage of his career, than City is Spurs and why would we sell to a CL position rival? We're not going to. Tevez - who could afford him? Not many, and those who could (Real, Barca, Chelsea) dont need him.

I expect to see Tevez and Bellers here at the start of next season. But the ax is going to be swung to clear Hughes overpaid pile of underperforming dead wood.

This post makes no sense to me. What did you think about Jose that was confirmed?? And who says Khaldoon isn't around and don't know what Marwood does? You or this bloke? Or both?

For your information, the kind of position Khaldoon holds in the company, yes that's what we are, doesn't include much contact with ground level workers (=players) or operational management (=manager). They have people who are professionals in operational stuff and concentrate on representing the company (=the Club) and looking after the bigger picture. They shouldn't be hanging next to factory floor (=training ground) all day or they wouldn't be doing their job.

Marwood takes care of football side of things and works as a link between executive directors and actual operational part of the Club (=players and manager). This can be read from the official site and when his appointment was announced.

Now I know these things and I'm as far removed from ITK as you can possibly get. So if your "source" doesn't know these very basic things, I wouldn't take anything he says seriously. And I don't.

It was my own opinion really. I think khaldoon should be involved more because he knows how to run a business.

It was confirmed that we have been trying to get Jose for months and that we have left mancio holding on, which is cold, ruthless and destabalising. We also did it with hughes and I dont like the way we work.

The video of khaldoon should be on the site shortly, but heres another question. Do you lot think that khaldoon should be / is qualified too make a judgement on the seasons of each of our players on a video thats going to be shown on our website? Hes hardly going to say that Vieira is wank either!

Involved with what? And how do you know what sort of hours he is putting in? Only small part of chairman's job is about actual football. He concentrates on financial side of things obviously. As he should be. As he knows about football probably just as much as enthusiastic supporter. Which from the experience we all know is sweet fuck all.
