My thoughts (may become a long read)

Postby BlueMoonAwoken » Wed May 05, 2010 10:55 pm

Im writing everything in this topic so i dont end up arguing my points in diffrent topics.

I am not too hurt over tonight ok it was a let down but nothing compared to the let down against the rags in the semi final of the league cup, or when scholes scored with 30 seconds to go in the derby. The more i sit back and think, the more i think the future is bright and the future is blue. Spurs looked a more settled team than us and it showed all the way through the game, we was pushing but we never really got in behind spurs.

The big thing for me is keeping the core of this team together we all know who are weak links im not here to abuse the players. Its not there fault there not good enough its the managers that brought them in.
Not sure if some of you agree but how refreshing was it too see bellamy and adebayor arguing with each other? and how refreshing was it to see tevez arguing with Adebayor?

I hope they have a few arguments in the dressing room after tonight because i really think this team has not bonded yet, And i think with all the players that came in on stupid wages tip toe around each other. Next season we will be even stronger not because we have "torres" or "villa" or any other player. We will be better because they will have gelled and hopefully mancini will get the job for next season and work out who he thinks is shit and get rid and bring in a few replacements.

With this stabillity and we all know the team has obvious quality i believe we will be fighting for the title next year, we may not win it but we be so concerned with winning the league we will be dissapointed with a champions league place.

So for me personally its the biggest summer in citys history for me we either progress or rip it all up again and we go through another season of let downs.

That sums up pretty well what I feel now. I'm starting to get over wednesday surprisingly fast. I'm still guttes but can already see in the future and it looks really bright.

I'm really looking forward to next season, UEFA Cup, new arrivals, some of the dross shifted off etc.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Europa qualification has made up for it, its a fun little comp imo although to lose out to champs league to fucking spurs is in very real danger of driving me mad - I hate them more than UTD

We need new arrivals that don't want Champions League 10/11 as a necessity and we also need to keep hold of our own players that do want it.

I'm not ashamed to admit that I wiped a tear from my eye as I had a Cup of Tea after getting home from the Pub.

Team has gelled well now and we start buying what we need to succeed rather than a new team again. Like the owner said we spent a fortune to leap ahead a year nothing more. We got slated in press for it but we did well this year even with that pressure but I reckon a new team and the pressure crushed us.

i agree with all that. Not being Manc or growing up with 30 years of United Hatred as my secret badge of honour like some have has made it really really easy to hate Spurs a lot more than any feelings i have for the scum...Strange to many i'd guess but it's palpable for me.

cheers
