Whilst he was very good, I didn't feel that type of entertainment matched what the occasion needed at that stage. It needed someone/something to really pump the crowd up and join in.

People showed very little interest until the last couple of lines and if anything his singing prior to that actually decreased the atmosphere.

I sort of agree with BT, that type of music doesn't really float my boat despite doing music A level (probably because of it thinking about it), BUT he was extremely good at it and I'm pleased he got a top reception towards the end of his performance

He was that, but when he went into Bluemoon it turned into a bit of a shambles; he just didn't have the passion to pull it off ;-)

I enjoyed it. Good to see City having a bit of variety for pre-match entertainment.

His Nessam Dorma got me, especially at the "good bit" as it tied in with Dickov equalising on the big screen in that game. Got to say that got me slightly choked up.
Bluemoon was crap though, he was singing it too slow and the fans didn't really know what to do!

Well I'm not a prawn eater & I thought it was dead good.

Actually I do like prawns but not 'posh' ones. I like the down to earth ones where you rip out the tail & pull it's little leggy things & it's head off. I don't like cod's heads though, fucking awful they are. The cheeks are alright but the rest of it's grim. Like having raw egg that tastes of fish.
