Rag Poster

Postby Blue Since 76 » Sun May 09, 2010 2:02 pm

Anyone seen the rag poster aimed at City fans? The one I saw is on Chester Rd around Stretford, but it's side on to the traffic, so is difficult to read. Not sure if there are any more anywhere - Kent possibly? It says something about Manchester's most popular iPhone app - the never ending clock. On the iPhone, it then says something like C'mon City and shows a digital clock which says 34 years.

Couldn't read all of it, but it made me laugh, which I'm sure wasn't what they were trying to do.

If I had an iPhone and someone made it as a real app, I'd download it. That's the thing they don't get - it could say 44 years, and we'd all still be here. Although I am hoping it would need to be reset next season, if someone wouldn't mind.

Looked like it had been done by fans rather than the club - not sure they can afford the price of an advertising hoarding. Good that they're thinking about us. Wonder if this means their derby is no longer Liverpool and Leeds, like they used to claim?

Whilst its one thing having a banner, the fact someone took time to develop this shows just how 'uninterested' they are with us.

Though it's pretty likely this wasn't made by anyone at United, it lacks any class or subtlety of the Local/ Tourist & Welcome To Manchester campaigns.

I thought Utd fans had at least six toes per foot?

all this 34 years bollocks doesn't bother me one bit..

put it this way making fun of our trophy-less 34 years is like making fun of a sniper with the barrel of his gun to your head, sure you're laughing now but when he pulls the trigger and blows the brains out the back of your head, not only won't you be smiling you'll also look like a complete fooking moron to the whole world.

It's only a matter of time before we win something and only a matter of time before the whole scummy lot of them look totally stupid.

My sister pointed out to me last week at the Aston Villa game that Manchester Council have paid millions out over the years for superb motorway connections to the M6 etc, . Coincidentally being of great use to the United fans needing a quick getaway back to London.

Yet Manchester Council still can^t get a f*ckin' tram line to the COMS sports area.

A big F'in joke.

Sooner we get rid of those Tory B*stards in the Council, the better.

I think we'll be waiting a very long time before the trams reach us. Maybe Sheikh Mansour will put up the money?

Yeah, if you drive down Ancoats you can see there's a lot of building work going on.

Though it's hardy a massive walk from town to the ground.

Surprising attack at City as their derby is with Liverpool and sometimes against Arsenal or Chelsea. Last one kind of depends which is closer to them at the table. Why bother, we are totally insignificant?
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?
