When a club is looking for 'investment' it's just a scam to placate the fans. What maniac is going to come along and 'invest' £200M or more so that Hicks and Gillette can build a new stadium and continue paying off their loan interest and/or keep the club afloat? Where is the return for the investor?

Can't see them selling myself as they have a steadily increasing asset (to them) being paid for entirely by the proceeds of said asset. Nice work if you can get it!

i think the fact that there are almost weekly reports in the media about so-called "potential investors" shows how desperate the bin dipping scumbags really are.

anyone remember hearing anything in the media about our takeover, before the morning is was announced?

Effort to sell season tickets without a doubt.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I think Gilette and Hicks are looking to bail at the right price, unfortunately doesn't the right price also include assuming nearly half a billion pounds of debt, which makes any offer realistically have to be over £1B. Not a fucking chance.
