Does anyone think that Gerrard would not be hungry for the Premier League title?

Does anyone think that he wouldn't want to put one over the scum?

Does anyone think he is going to achieve this with Liverpool?

Gerrard at the right price is an upgrade for nearly any team and to dismiss a player of his calibre for either footballing or business reasons is foolhardy in my book. Not that I agree with giving Liverpool 40 mil or us buying a near 30 year old player for a price anywhere near that, but someone like Gerrard, and a couple of players in key positions, would give us a real shot at the league.

I agree with you but i dare say a fair few on here wont. Get ya tin hat on Beefy!!!

I am sure you have reasons for wanting him, but jesus if I had posted in reverse that I am sure even SoF would have torn it to pieces.

So he doesn't think we should be buying a 30yo for £40M and you agree with him, yet when I posted it....well at least you are inconsistent.

Wrong again.....I agree that we should sign him I never commented on the price on Beefys post. Where did I say " beefy I agree we should sign him and I agree not a 40 mill" I think if you read it again you will find I did not say that, just said I agree that we should sign him up.

You show your own inconsistencies when you constanly pull me up oh this thread to a point of needless personal digs and say nothing to no one else with the same views.....funny that!!!

Oh, when you said you agree with his post, I foolishly thought you agreed with his post instead of just parts of it, my mistake.

And if you take a bit of a look right above my reply to you, you will see I am replying to other people, however there is a lot of useless comments on this thread...I suppose you could take it as a compliment, but if you need a reason,

Yes, yes it did. Boy you have such insight and vision.

Or I could just be interested in finding out if you were just a moronic fan who thinks that putting the best 11 players you can buy on the pitch will win matches, whether you thought about the bigger picture and whether you have considered outside influences on the actually player we will be buying.

From your responses, you have not. Deluded, lacking football knowledge...we'll you're the expert.

I have commented on signing one player not 10 not 11 but 1. When have I said let's buy Messi let's buy Lampard let's buy Torres, I think you will find never. Please list the 11 players you claim iv gone on about in a "moronic" way.

Oh and for the record I would like to sign Steve G for pure football reasons but I will state yet again just for you that this will not happen because IMO he will not play for another EPL team. Is that clear enough for you.

Well done Slim, trying to make your argument sound better by using far inferior players; a masterstroke. Unless you believe those players are of the same ilk?

Actually they were your reasons, I don't think signing a player who wants the title, put one over the scum or not being able to achieve it with his current team are anywhere near valid reasons and the use of inferior players was done to illustrate that.

I swear sometimes the lack of being able to think things through is a fucking motto around here, maybe we should get the mods to add that to the forum rules.
