Bingo doesn't really sound like that though...... Jim does.

I've been out of Manchester for nearly 5 years so my accent has mellowed somewhat. I admit to being well spoken, though. Grammar School Education etc.

There certainly is, you ain't lost it! I went to Grammar school too, though even 7 years there didn't get rid of my common Yorkshire accent!

Haha, far from posh mate, I was very lucky that my parents worked hard to send me and my brother to that school. Born in Hudds and live in Halifax

Batley Grammar. Was brilliant for music and sports, though the downside was it was an all boys school till I reached 6th form, then they let girls in for the first time. Only about 5 of them joined the 6th form, talk about dogs on heat then !!

yeah we used to play rugby against Crossley Heath in Halifax....they were a rum bunch sometimes

You suprised me when you said you don't get in the Townley, thought you'd be one of the crew. You should go, I ain't the most confident of people around new folks but the lads in there made me most welcome when I went.

Castle Hill, spent a fair few summer nights as a kid bombing up and down the slopes by the side of it. I'll have to try and get to the Townley next season, or even Andies' 5-a-side league that she's sorting so I can finally meet some of the lads I chat with on here
