If he moves to City, he'll need to succeed as the footballing world will be watching him. Am assuming he doesn't have a lack of confidence issue and just flips out sometimes a la Drogba.
IMO if we somehow get Torres, the media will go mental. Not going to complain but I could do without the aggro for a change.
I'm not convinced about Ibrahimavic though. He's got to be good but I seem to miss those games that he excels in.

Even without spending money on a single player I expect their debts to go up by at least another 40m in comparison to last year.

Erm....just where did he "say" that
I have not read a single quote directly saying that, nor any vaguely alluding to it

They are making operational profits to my knowledge and also money from the Tranny sale is still in there.

On top of that this included their Premier League winners prize money, their Carling Cup prize money and did they not also reach the FA Cup Semi Final? On top of that they reached the final of the CL and became runners up (that alone is about 7m in prize money alone).
On top of that all the ticket sales and TV revenue.
This year they got kicked out of the FA Cup in round 3, did not even reach the Semi Final of the CL and did not win the League either. They only won the Carling Cup. Furthermore they have no C.Ronaldo for sale....
So I conclude 2 things:
1. Their income this year is going to be significantly lower than last year (due missing out on prize money, less TV revenue and Ticket sales due to crashing out of competitions much earlier than last year).
2. They have no Ronaldo for Sale (80m)
Now... even if they would have earned the same amount of money as last year (which they did not), they still do not have 80m incoming for a player they sell... if they had not sold Ronaldo last season, they would have actually reported a loss of nearly 32m.
That's why I think that with the decrease of money that actually came in this season their loss this season should be at least 40m?

I am not a massive fan of Ibrahimovic, so I hope we don't get him. But then I didn't really want Bellamy and look how wrong I was there.

That is what I mean though. How would they be able to buy ANYONE without selling one of two of their players for a lot of dosh?
