I agree with much of that - additional low points the two losses against the spuds - 1 where we were dismantled the other where our hopes were

I don't see how Ade was a flop, but close on all other points.

Bit harsh on Adebayor. He's had problems this season yet has still scored Goals.

That 3-0 defeat at Spurs was the first comprehensive defeat all season yet people were wearing Santa Claus Hats. I'd have been grateful for that about 5 seasons ago.

Hi Garry,I just wanted to shake your hand and ask you a question.I go to COMS as mucha as possible but sometimes I cannot leave the house as Sophie.....sorry..Sophie is my Cat...... needs a carer when Im away and sometimes I cannot find one.
My question is ; Is it possible to bring Sophie to matches at COMS in her kitten box and can she come in for free?

I also agree that it's fair except for the Ade bit. He's a better finisher than we've had for many a long year and his goals to game ratio is high - he's got roughly the same number of goals as Fabregas, and no other Arsenal player comes near.

Also if they're talking about the whole season I suppose it's fair, but we are a strange case and I believe the team that finished is much better than the one which started the season. Also, Scum at home is one thing but I still find it foolish to criticise anyone for getting a 0-0 draw at Arsenal. Open tactics could easily have led to disaster there.

A lot of hughes's summer buys flopped, ade wasn't one of them, though he could have done better imo

Other than that agree completely with their sypnopsis

I just don't get all this "jury still out on Lescott" business. He has been unavailable for most of the season and when he has played, albeit only a handful of games in the middle of the season, he looked fairly solid, bordering on a class act. A slow start, sure, but that was perhaps to be expected given the manner of his arrival, but I don't think the jury is out at all. He and Kompany will be the best centre back pairing in the premiership for years to come.

Very fair review. Two things I disagree with:
  • Adebayor is not an expensive mistake with 14 odd goals.
  • Robinho is by far the flop of the season for the entire league, not just our club.

I am with you - they have it right about cautious play - especially against the scouse we were too cautious - cost us points - 4th was there for the taking and I think that both Hughes and Mancini had the chance to secure it but were not able to be bold enough. This for me is the big lesson for Mancini to learn - we need to have a winning mentality and boss games - not a 'challengers' mentality to try and nick something

Yet another load of nonsense that takes money and player value as the only factor behing ultimate success.
No mention there of the fact that this is a new team that is still developing.

For me, Rocque is untouchable until he starts 5 games straight. If he duds then yes, get rid. Until then, he's just unfulfilled potential.
