Team news

Kevin-Prince Boateng is almost certain to miss out though. The midfielder is carrying an ankle injury and has not travelled with the squad to London and is unlikely to be available.

Jamie O'Hara also remains a major doubt because of a stress fracture in his back.

The on-loan midfielder, who was ineligible for the victory over parent club Spurs in the last round, hopes a pain-killing injection will allow him to play some part.

Centre-half Tal Ben-Haim has recovered from a groin problem, Nadir Belhadj and Richard Hughes (both hamstring) should be available, but Aruna Dindane (groin), Marc Wilson (hamstring), Hassan Yebda (thigh) and youngster Lenny Sowah (knee) are all concerns.

Hermann Hreidarsson (Achilles) and Danny Webber (knee) definitely miss out with long-term injuries.

Chelsea have a slight doubt over right-back Branislav Ivanovic. Paulo Ferreira is on standby if Ivanovic fails to recover from a knee problem.

John Terry is expected to play after an injury scare earlier in the week - the England defender was thought to have broken a metatarsal on Wednesday but has declared himself 100 per cent fit.

John Obi Mikel has undergone minor surgery on a knee injury and is out for the remainder of the season, while long-term absentees Michael Essien, Jose Bosingwa (both knee) and Ricardo Carvalho (ankle) remain sidelined.

Possible starting XIs:

Chelsea: Cech, Terry, Alex, A Cole, Ivanovic, Ballack, Lampard, Malouda, Kalou, Anelka, Drogba

Portsmouth: James, Finnan, Rocha, Ben-Haim, Vanden Borre, Mokoena, Belhadj, Hughes, Mullins, Piquionne, Utaka

Arsed.

There's always the chance that something great might happen - but if Chelsea can't motivate themselves to win their first Double against a side high on spirit but low on everything else then there's a problem!

The Pub today will be full of people who've never been to a Football Match before.

Hi Garry,I just wanted to shake your hand and ask you a question.I go to COMS as mucha as possible but sometimes I cannot leave the house as Sophie.....sorry..Sophie is my Cat...... needs a carer when Im away and sometimes I cannot find one.
My question is ; Is it possible to bring Sophie to matches at COMS in her kitten box and can she come in for free?

Looking at those potential line ups, I can see a total wipeout taking place.

Portsmouth are down to reserves in half of the positions on the pitch.

I won't be watching.

East London Chelsea.

There was one Man Ure in there recently who spent more time playing with his mobile phone, smoking outside, staring at other people and looking at his shoes than he did watching the Match. Everyone was ripping him.

Don't worry, GBH will win it for Portsmouth... I mean TBH (I was probably right the first time though)

I wonder what odds you'd get for Chelsea 0 - 1 Portsmouth (Ben Haim)?

40-1?

Or have I missed off a nought there?

David James to have an absolute screamer. And then let in a howler.

I hope Terry fekks up and lets a winning goal in from Pompey, or better yet scores and own goal.

Oh gawd, 90+ minutes of listening to that ANNOYING Pompey anthem, and probably several shots of that twat in a hat.

Studge and Ben Haim on the bench. Anelka, James and Brown to start.

So a little City flavour there.

That pitch looks gash! It's got brown patches and you can actually see the undulations.

And this is the pride of England?
