Postby gillie » Tue May 18, 2010 11:04 pm

He wont fit at Barca if they sign David Villa he wont fit in Real coz he would never play for them.He wont fit at Chelsea as it would cause to much unrest in the camp he wont fit at the swamp coz they cant afford him.So for me its us or Spuds as i think they will go to their max to sign him Twich will sell him on the CL AND WE WILL MISS OUT.Discuss.

Surely he'll take 3 years of CL after a year without CL, rather than the other way round?

Since Barca are turning themselves into the Spanish national team I can see him fitting in there.

Why the hell would he not fit Chelsea?

Fat chance of him going to fucking Spurs and I doubt he'd join us.

But yeah, if he leaves Liverpool, he'll go to Chelsea.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

The question is; has anyone bid for him? Rumours suggest we have & Mancini definitely wants him but some people recon we're the only club interested so far.

What I don't understand is why Barca aren't all over him. He would be perfect for them. Is it because of his injury record or because they don't have the cash for him & Fabregas?

Perhaps they (& he) are waiting for us to give them a fortune for 29 year old Ibrahimovic so they can take younger/better Torres from under our noses.

buying Ibra right now in the current market would seem really really...gay. Seriously. Looks can be deceiving, but...just sayin.

I will go properly spastic if we so much as bid for Zlatan Ibrahomovic.....it has "City's worst ever transfer" written all over it

The world's media would love us to sign him and would delight in doing their best to ensure it was a disaster should he do so.

Fernando Torres would fit in here....and I think there's a very outside chance he might come.

If he moved to Chelsea then it is certain that Anelka or Drogba would leave as neither has the character or ego to take him taking "their" place in the starting XI.

I would take either of them in place of Torres, both would help us challenge for the title

Never go spurs as they don't look like they will win the prem in the next 5 years and that's in fact I would be surprised if they were in the CL next year even after spending 40 million in this window. Even with CL they don't have a lot of pulling power I think nor have money for high wages for players like him. They just don't look like they are going anywhere so and that's a worry for a lot of players joining of Torres calibre

if torres goes anywhere i reckon it'll be chelsea.

apprently villa has signed for barca, if we now go and bid £35m - £40m on ibrahimovic i will be massively disappointed.

we should go for dzeko.
