There's the issue of buying 'home grown talent'. I suspect that players from the prem will rocket in value because of this. Especially young players.

If we want him and can afford him, why not pay over the odds? If he helps us get into the Chumps League, the value will be pretty much irrelevant anyway. As a club we need to start earning very big money in the very near furure. Otherwise, the new loaded fifa rules will clip our wings and knock us back down the pecking order, regardless of the size of the clubs bank balance.

On a serious note, i would love us to unveil 3 or 4 new signings that the press have not picked up on all at once. Can we not serve some kind of injunction against the papers in terms of announcing signings once they have been done?? Example; Man City have to announce them before the press.
