Gotta be honest would hate to see him go , There are a lot of games to play next season and even higher ( if poss ) expectations We need people who know the set up to help settle in the new guys , If he wants to be here we should deffo keep him. And work his training schedules around him Like they do for King . I think he has been a great buy for us .

Would love to see Bellers here next season as it would show that he really wanted to play for us in order to win something. If he goes elsewhere, then I'll put it down to Hughes leaving, nothing more, nothing less.

I think Bellamy's got one more season at City in him. Who thought he'd displace Robinho from the side at the start of 09/10? I know it says more about how bad Robinho was - but Bellers can still contribute. He's still an option for us.

Hi Garry,I just wanted to shake your hand and ask you a question.I go to COMS as mucha as possible but sometimes I cannot leave the house as Sophie.....sorry..Sophie is my Cat...... needs a carer when Im away and sometimes I cannot find one.
My question is ; Is it possible to bring Sophie to matches at COMS in her kitten box and can she come in for free?

ha ha.. ok fair enough.. im with beefy and others.. if he wants to be here then great, he has been more than a top performer for us and has made the difference in some important games and moments. I cant see how he would get a better opportunity to be part of winning something than being at City, he can still contribute a hell of a lot even with reduced appearances or used s a super sub. he would accept that im sure as he has to look after himself anyways. he has the fighting attitude we need and has shown himself over the last two seasons that he can produce. Like btajim wrote we probably need him given all the comps we have.

Bellers has been great for City and anyone who thinks different has an axe to grind for some reason. If he stays I would be delighted but I think it would be as a squad player only as I expect there will be new players coming in who will take his place in the " first" team. As he realistically only has 2 years at most left playing at a good level I think he might fancy getting as much first team time as he can somewhere else.On that basis I can see him moving on .Thanks and good luck if he does.

I recall him saying a while ago that he wanted to feel part of the start of the revolution, and that later on when better players were signed he'd be happy to shine their boots for them! I hope he still feels that way.

you say "on that basis"...well I reckon theres more to it than that...I dont think he likes the way Mancini manages City....thats what I think, the reality is NOONE will know the real truth until he comes out and says as much.........probably in his autobiography.

I hope he stays and to be honest he would be stupid if he doesn't. Noone will pay him the wages we do at this stage in his career. Realistically speaking, like Doug said, I think he only has 2 or 3 more years left anyway before his knees will force him to retire.

I think you are probably right and it's quite likely there are a number of others who also don't like the way Mancini set the team to play last season.Having said that I actually don't think there has been a major fall out between the 2 but as I said if Mancini decides he is a squad player it might make his mind up.

It's also true that there is no chance he would get the same money he is on anywhere else but I doubt he would be that bothered about the money side of things.

I don’t for a minute think Bellamy and Mancini are best mates nor do I believe they are sworn enemies. I believe both are good pro’s that wouldn’t cut off their nose to spite there faces and just get on with it.

This is Bellamy’s last chance at a top club. Where ever he goes after us, it’s a step down. We also have the squad to allow him to be nursed through his injuries but still be a vital squad member. At this time in our progression we need players with the attitude and talent like Bellamy around the club. Whilst I say he will step down I don’t believe it will be any lower than a Villa or Everton. Sides who have shown with the right management and team spirit to be more than capable of giving us and any of our other rivals a good run for our money. So why strengthen them ?

I would be gutted if he left, though it wouldn’t surprise me if he left us and did a Jimmy Bullard and got a injury that finished him at the highest level. Either way I’ve loved him playing for City and always feel very happy to see his name on the team sheet. If he goes he will be going with mine and I imagine the majority of City fans best wishes.

Let me add to the part of "I wont miss him"..it,s because we will replace him with someone thats better and younger and knee trouble free.

Believe me - you wont miss him if we replace him with the player calibre of Dzeko ect.....

Personally I dont see any reason to replace Bellamy. If we sign, for example, Silva, he would be replacing Petrov in the squad. Then if he cannot play who better to come in than Bellers? It's about raising the level of the squad and I believe Bellamy can still do a job at a top 4 club. It's not a question of one player in, a good one out. Ship out the also-rans, of which we have many.

It would be sad, if bellers left. I would love him to be driving forward and crossing for dzeko, (hopefully) next season.

Easily the best post on this topic.

I find it ridiculous that people are looking for extremes. Either players want to lick managers hairy nuts or are making voodoo dolls of him and scamming to either get rid of manager or out of the club. 99% of players don't do either. Prime example, I found it even funnier that loads of people (me included) thought Bellamy was Hughes great pal because they were both Welsh and had been in same club before. Turns out Bellamy doesn't have Hughes' numebr or talk to him outside work at all.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I don't care who signs, they'll struggle to do better over a season than Bellamy has & should he stay, they'll struggle to keep him out of the team, you can guarantee that. Letting him go will strengthen an opponent, it would be fucking madness.

It beggars belief the way people can just write off one of the only 'big game players' we have at the club because we can replace him with untried players who've never kicked a ball in the Premier League!? Almost ALL of our big wins involve Bellamy either scoring or laying on a goal & being one of the best or THE best player on the pitch. Just because he ran out of steam late in the season, we get rid?!! Tevez also tired, lets fuck him off as well.

Those two carried the team on their backs for more than half a season whilst Ireland, Robinho, Adebayor, SWP, RSC did next to fuck all. Who do we sell him to? Spurs? That would be fucking clever wouldn't it? Unfortunately it would also be 'typical City'.

If Spurs sign Bellamy, they'll finish above us.

Bellemy is class, end of.
Some games he's not as effective as others, but he is always there causing problems for the opposition.
I'd love him to stay here and finish out his career with a league winners medal.
I hope to God he isn't bitter about the club, the thought of him disliking City when most of us fans are so supportive of him makes me feel a bit shit.

Bellamy's taking a step down if he goes to Tottenham and plays Champions League? I think Redknapp would love to sign him.
