Very long winded and by using maths england will win?hmmmmmm.......but thats not football and thats why we love it-unpredictability!

I usually bet on england to keep an interest but the odds are shit this year for the squad they have 6/1?no thanks. France/germany at 14/1 much better bet imo.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's strange how maths and statics can manipulated to show a certain team will definately win. There was a German one out not long ago on the same lines, they can't both be right can they?

That's just way too complicated. I'll stick to my method which is to look for a team with a good chance of making it to the final who are a decent price and bang some dough on them each way. Betting on England is shit as they're only 6-1. We haven't a prayer of winning the thing imo but everyone bets on them and it puts us as one of the favourites every time.

where are germany in that list if they end up using the penalty metrics, considering germany have never missed a penalty in the world cup finals

Most powerful stat by far is that all nine wins by European countries have taken place in Europe. Europe as a whole is 0/8 on other continents.

So best advice is to split your stakes on Brazil and Argentina!

i wouldnt put a penny on england after yesterdays performance, i would reckon if you were toput a bet on in any other country your lookin at 12/1, but because its england over here were 4th favs!!!!
the usual suspects brazil, germany, italy, spain and possibly holland will all give you a run for your money

I think we're are terrible value at 6's and wouldn't touch it. It's maybe not wise to place too much emphasis on friendly performances but we have pretty poor since qualifying. Anyway, 6/1 isn't enough to tempt me.

I'm on RVP to be top scorer E/W at 20/1 which I think is a top bet as he'll be fresh and will get lot's of chances. Also on Rooney at 13/8 to be England's top scorer.

I don't think I'll have any more bets although the Dutch at 14's E/W looks tempting. Serbia to qualify from their group and Porugal not to qualify from theirs are others I've thought about but not sure of prices.
