Shame if AJ doesn't go.. i think he would be a great supersub to have and would have delivered. However in terms of his own career it doesn't matter and is possible better he doesn't come under the insane pressure at this time. Gives him chance to get on and get his head down and progress with both his football knowledge and physically.. keeps him hungry to get there for the Euros.

At the end of the day, the Lad began the season playing Championship Football for Middlesbrough and finished the season by training with the England Squad. It's a brilliant experience for him and it can only be positive in terms of career development.

exactly.. and we all know the way that players get ripped by the press as soon as they do anything even slightly wrong or underperform.
