pre WC friendlies

Postby brite blu sky » Tue Jun 01, 2010 1:01 pm

there are quite a few more coming up in the next week. Some are interesting.

1st June
Portugal V Cameroon - Tranaldos side are really struggling it seems even with the first 11, worth keeping an eye on this game in case of drama.
Holland v Ghana - gonna watch this one.. Nige might be playing and good to see how the Dutch are progressing and deal with Ghana.

2nd June
Brazil v Zimbabwe

3rd June
Italy v Mexico - can compare this to the England game
Spain v S.Korea

You missed the ever important Australia v Denmark match on right now. 55 minutes in, still waiting for the first real chance of the game for either side.

Schwartzer is gonna be our live and die at this tournament I think, decent going forward but our defence is so holy it will have to have him on song.

Do u support Australia or England?

Also that had to be one of the shittiest internationals I've ever seen. Aussie are my 2nd team for obvious reasons but god they play some attrocious football. Bit worried they haven produced a name of quality since te last wc either. Not one of the new generation compares with the likes of cahill, kewell, emerton etc.

I support both, it's a tricky balancing act. If they meet I support England, which is going to make the next ashes a very expensive exercise as I have a running bet with a mate on all Aussie v England matches.

Zimbabwe v Brazil

Benji, Elano and Litte Rob all playing and soon to be City player Maicon ;)

Brazil were struggling a bit to break down Zim.. and Benjani missed a sitter one on one.

Bastos just scored a screamer from 30 yd free kick and Robson just added another with a chip over the goalie

2-0 almost half time

I think it's just hopeful speculation. Just like I hope Edin Dzeko is soon to be a City player.
