Defensively we were fucking shocking mate, but we had a few good attacks, hit woodwork a couple of times and Kennedy missed a goal that fucking Vassell would have scored. TBF though, Findley missed an open net and the US had a goal disallowed that looked okay to me. So it could have been better with a bit of good luck, could have been a lot worse with a bit of bad luck.

Saw on Twitter that the FA isn't allowing anyone to show it live. Looking for rivers too, haven't found any yet. Hopefully closer to kickoff?

Has Joe Hart been releasing the ball that quick all through the first half? (IE a quick throw rather than a speculative punt up field)

Not sure, apparently Fabio wasn't too pleased though. Got up and yelled at him a few times.

Gotta love this, I saw on the EA sports ticker the story title "Jong aims high" and I thought, you dumb fucks, you forgot the "de" at the start. However after a quick google I found the story....

http://www.goal.com/en/news/1863/world- ... oup-g-jong

World Cup 2010: Brazil & North Korea Will Survive Group G - Jong Tae-Se the North Korea attacker has predicted that his side will reach the first knockout round...

By Stefan Coerts

North Korea are pooled with tournament favourites Brazil and outsiders Portugal and Cote d'Ivoire in the group phase of the 2010 World Cup and Group G is considered by many to be the 'Group of Death'.

This hasn't stopped striker Jong Tae-Se from making a rather ambitious prediction ahead of this summer's tournament though.

"In our group, it will be Brazil and North Korea who will advance," said the highly rated striker to the Chosun Ilbo.

The 26-year-old forward also repeated that he's full of confidence that he'll score more than one goal in South Africa.

"I will keep my promise of scoring one goal per game in the group phase."

North Korea only have a 5.4 per cent chance of surviving the group stage according to Castrol Football's 2010 FIFA World Cup Group Predictor, but Jong clearly has other plans.

I want what he is smoking.

6-0 in the end. Spain are gonna take some stopping. Poland were not very good but they didn't stand a chance.

Fifa threatened to take this guy to court over this. The guy would have provided employment but Fifa said you make these and we sue your arse.Fifa is supposed to be a non profit making organization but stand to make at least 2 billion dollars out of this World Cup.The guy they threatened with court was making his product for 3quid a time Fifa brought a subsequent item out for 10 quid a time they really are bent bastards imo.

He was only selling little keyrings, fucking scandal - the tv over here have been jumping on the anti fifa bandwagon in the last few days, playing up hell that locals cant go to games.

The big story though has been that the merchandising is ALL being manufactured in China and sold by big multinationals for extortionate profits, small retailers and manufacturers in South Africa have been frozen out completely, thus the benefit to the country is practically zero.
