That left winger for Greece looks pretty handy.

He has lovely hair.

I am running about 15 minutes behind, after hearing the commentator read out the lineup(which I am sure was from a menu), I ducked down and got some Korean takeaway.

Bollox, I was caught out by there being three matches today - ended up missing the first half. Oh well.

Here's a worldcup half-time treat for everyone:

Robinho open to Besiktas move (haha):

Bradley expects to win opener vs. England (me too):

I think this match determines who gets first or second in our group and I think people are underestimating how up for this game England are. Of course if you'd like a friendly wager...

They don't look a bad side. Could be tough for Nigeria to get through this group.

Yep, they all look very fit too and have some pace. Greece are awful but I've been impressed with SK.

I've been impressed with how tight RoK are. Winning everything from Greece and really taking their chances.

That No 10 has made some nice moves as well as park ji sung.

Greece is really crap tho aren't they?

Cheers

he is gorgeous indeed.

SK do look handy. Of all the asian nations, they are the only ones who have always looked like they can compete.

they're technically very talented as well, and seem to be a lot more physically capable then other asian nations (china, japan, etc..)

Honestly I think the only thing holding back japan/china is their physicality (lack of) and mentality. I lived in asia for 3 of the last 5 years and played a different levels in the us and in asia, and this is the main difference that I find between them and the west. Koreans, however, are a very confrontational people ... super passionate, in a very pro-active way. if that makes sense.

of course I'd take a gentleman's bet ... I wouldn't lay anything substantial down unless it was done in person, that's just the way I work.

All the Grecian players look like fuclin fable characters. Do they recruit from grimms fairy tales?

Greece on the front foot. Nice save from the korean keeper.
