Sanchez must feel like a big kid playing football with all the little shit kids.

Sanchez is another year away from being really potent. He unfortunately suffers from the same syndrome as Tranny did first season in England, blistering pace, bag full of tricks and very little end product. He will be a superstar but not just yet.

Mati Fernandez was disappointing, although I expect him to score a cracker of a freekick before he heads back to Portugal.

Still, they got the win and off to a better start than they have had since 1950.(First WC Final win since then)

If we're serious about building for the future these are the kind of players we should be gambling money on, not 30 year old ponces like Ibrahimovic.

I would take both of them in a second, add to that Gourcuff and Di Maria...can you imagine the scorelines, I think it'd be fun to be on the right end of a 7-4 win.

Argies are great on the ball but the defence is desperately bad in so many ways. Korea could have had 3/4 goals if they weren't blind/stupid/shit.

In the qualifiers they ran rings round Brazil but kept missing chances & Brazil just whacked loads of high balls into their box. None of them can head the ball so it caused nightmares. Another weakness that hasn't yet been tested in this competition.

WOW! Did we just win 4-1 or did I dream that? Man, I'm high as a fucking kite.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Sides have won before on the "we'll score one more than you" philsophy, Argie's have incredible attacking talent, equal of anyone in the world and I'd be reluctant to say they couldn't win the pot.

Nice goal from Eto'o - he looks so much more comfortable centrally than on the right

USA would go through on goals scored.

If we draw 2-2 and USA draw 0-0 then we would have to draw lots.
