As for this:

"..............It's till unknown whether the City medical people have travelled to SA to do the medical on the player, or whether he will travel to Manchester specifically this weekend for a medical on Monday at the latest...."

Dont we just do these over the phone these days?

I dont know anything else - Sorry IBH. ;-)

The agreement between the players and the English club is total · Valencia and City had agreed the transfer • The Spanish international is an express request Mancini

So materialize a signing that has cornered the sports front pages for weeks. And is that the interest of the City for the exquisite left-hander has a long history, even in Britain, claimed on Tuesday that he had signed for Manchester.
Thus, Smith has opted to play under the command of Italian Mancini, who considered his move priority, rejecting the siren song of Chelsea and no concrete interest from Real Madrid

I don't reckon Silva is happening

My friend has a mate who reckons he knows a guy who does a bit of gardening for Silvas dad and he says it might not happen

I've a feeling the Torres bid may be true. Doesn't mean he'll come but I recon we'll be trying to get him & if Silva signs it'll help us get the diving fish headed tosser.
