Fingers crossed mate, although must be said if he comes Bellers is probably headed for the exit door... hope not but its looking ever likely...

Even if Silva is a done deal, I doubt City or perhaps Silva would want it announcing at this stage unless it's unavoidable, so we could have a few weeks of suicidally impatient City fans kicking off like the Tevez saga.

Re Bellamy, he made a point of running to Mancini to prove there's no problem & he's always said he wants to fight for a place with the incoming players & stay at City to the end, even if he has to 'clean their boots' . I thinbk he may stay unless we desperately want rid. Not sure about Ireland, SWP, RSC, Robinho, Weiss (& of course Ned who'll probably be gone as soon as a few players come in).

I met a guy at the Spanish Embassy in DC who said that he hopes Silva and Torres go to City because it is easier to get the games here live, compared to catching Valencia games. Plus he can't stand Liverpool so it kills him to root for Torres there. He is a Xerez fan btw so he has a hard time watching them.

Sounds like a good enough reason to me. Has he spoken to Silva about it

19.26 According to reports in Spain, Valencia winger David Silva has agreed terms on a five-year contract with Manchester City. The two clubs are now discussing a fee, with City either paying £20.7million and sending Roque Santa Cruz to Valencia, or £26.4million if the Paraguayan striker doesn't want to move.

I don't know about throwing RSC in there, surly he's worth more than £5.7mill.

I'd like to keep him and with a full injury free pre-season under him see what he can do!

If it doesn't work out sell him next summer, we'll still be able to command at least £6-7mil next year

Anyone else remember a City fanzine called Blueprint that issued a City "Flop Trumps" game? Such legends as kernaghan, Siddall and Brian Snail were in it. Santa Cruz would be a prime card in that game with a Flop Trump transfer market value the same as Barry Siddall's - a fun size mars bar.

Granted he's not that bad but if we can ship him as part of the deal for Silva, then Im all for it.

Are you sure that's the right way round? I heard it was £20.7m or £26.4m if they have to pick up the hospital bills for Crocky.

Last summer, he was worth about £5.7m, despite what we paid for him. After another season of injuries, I don't think he's worth that, so I'll be glad to take the loss to avoid having to listen to him going on about how we're going to bounce back. He talks to the press so much, I'm surprised he hasn't dislocated his tongue.

Everton make Ireland enquiry

Everton have apparently made an enquiry over the availability of Stephen Ireland, according to the Daily Telegraph.

The paper reports that the midfielder wants to leave City, but that the Eastlands club will want between £8m and £10m.

David Moyes has long been an admirer of the Republic of Ireland international, although it could make City’s interest in Mikel Arteta more real if the Blues make a formal move for Ireland.

Jog on Moyes i wouldn't sell you the shit out of my arse.

Price is £40m - Lescott market price - and we should threaten to report him for making a bid for one of our players as its just not been done right.

Some things never change:

NO SILVA FOR CITY

El Javier Gomez spoken at Once Verda radio station y Valencian.tv has told that El Smith will not transfer for El City. Before, the crossing look final but the general Emary Unai reaction with no joy es the tall one Saint Cruz. "We more effective with ten." With this the petrol dollars ask for Brazilianista Jo but no with the Samba tiedo de copa. The economic proposal had been irrechazable for Silva, who through their representatives had reached an agreement for the next four seasons with El City. For each of those seasons the Valencia player had collected five million euros net. Everything was finished for the crossing, but Gomez and Emery decline at final stage. The problem also stem from payment for the Che. Garry Cook propose 12m euros initial plus 4.5m for two annual aswell Saint Cruz. "This 3 times now that The Citizens change proposal for Valencian. First Argentine Ever Banega en Augusto 08, then Silva previous January and now aswell with the Wizard. Es muy simple, Cooke lost the bottle" angered Javier Gomez.

The Mestalla was counting for at least £24m euros initial, as Barca for Villa, so this news becomes major problem for Valencia in future mercado. Gran Canaria had started proposals for Green and blanco Miguel Veloso at Lisboa de Portugal for replace of Pipo Baraja and require euros from sale of the Smith for finance player. Instead Los Che will propose borrow offerta for Paul Pogba leader of men at second club of Manchester - Red Devils. It also has ramification for 'Scouse' Albert Riera Ortega who wanted by Che for replacement of Smith. Riera had state "I would rather claims social than play for Liverpool again".

Mirror reporting???? Shit, and I had such high hopes there was something in these rumours.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?
