We are bloody lucky not to be 4 goals down but we are not, as far as the Lampard 'goal' is concerned its payback time for 1966 and we cannot complain,1-2 is overturnable but we need a great second half from England.

The game is passing Terry by, the ball is going past him every time and he's just watching it.

Get him off before any more damage is done.

Awful by the ref and his assistant but lets not disguise the fact that England have been dire. We could have conceded 4 or 5 and until we scored from nowhere the effort and performance was totally crap. At least since then we have woken up and shown some urgency.

What a shambles this is. The defence is shocking and what is wrong with Wayne Rooney. The guy is meant to be in the top 3 players in the world?? He is having a mare, will Capello have the balls to hook him??

No he won't but he should. Crouch would have a field day in the air here. the germans just aren't good at the back. I don't understand it, they're playing Lahm a lb at RB, Freidrich a rb at CB, and Boateng a cb at LB. I hope we don't intend to play him there.

No

He will stick with the likes of shrek and Terry even though they are absolutely useless.

England need a manager with a back-bone.

I don't want England to continue in the tournament unless these blokes are going to grow some balls & at at least play at HALF the standard they produce on a Saturday. It's not entertaining, it's just annoying. Either sort it out or fuck off home.

Its strange Capello was always know as a manager with no favourites but his decisions here are baffling.

Only an OG before the half would be justice.

Oh please cause David James would of stopped play and said "please award a goal to Germany". Its harsh but you can't blame the germans. England are well in the game now though and its hard to see them not scoring.

Actually james is prollee twisted enough to do that. Trust me. Germany will pay for that. Karma is a fucking bitch.

Disagree. Not trying to big him up cos he'll play for us but Upson wasn't even his man. Neuer pulled a Kasper by coming and flapping at it.

Sorry bout the goal lads - clear as day. Officiating's been so poor so often this WC.

What a disgrace that goal has not stood.
The argument forthe need of video technology in football just got better.
Blatter and Platini again will prob overlook the incident but when the stakes are so high it really does matter,if this effects the overall outcome of the game its going to be huge like the Henry incident against Ireland.
Blatant error from the officials and nothing can be done about it,time for change i think.
Fifa really need to look at this as fair play is gone totally out the window here.

Capello wont change anything yet i dont think.. maybe if England stay flat then he will do something at the 60 mark.

England at least are showing urgency now and attacking the ball.. see how they get on for a bit.

The thing is Rooney does not even look like kicking into a higher gear. He is in a rut and I see the only wat out of that rut is for him to get back in the red of United and fuck off till August.
