Here goes...

"Platt is an excellent addition to the club. The management experience he has gained relegating Sampdoria and ruining Notts Forest combined with his expert punditry role makes his the perfect candidate for the job. Roberto has clearly made a sound appointment here."

-LM, mancityfans

Fantastic idea by the club in bringing a truly well respected critic of City into the fold, this is truly enlightened management at its best, allowing the team to benefit from someone who can see where we have been going wrong and is not afraid to say so.. surely now there is nothing stopping City becoming a team of giants and follow in the footsteps of legend teams like Nottingham Forest.

Yep you're right there's a possible upside, keep wheeling the twat out to do loads of interviews & give him a script where he has to say how he thinks we're doing the right thing spending loads of money, not ruining football as he said, how we're aiming to win the league & have a great chance, how he thinks we'll be bigger than Maaan Uuuuu in the near future & that we have a better squad than them now, biggest club in the world before long etc etc over & over again.

Then make him say it again.

And again.

I can't believe Vhero stole my line.

If he was such a rag lover he wouldn't have accepted the job.

That's one less person slagging us off. He has to say nice things about us now. hahahahahaha

Don't panic...yet.
There is just a very slight possibility that it was a mistake and City meant to announce...

I live in hope that's all he is.

I cannot wait for the first press conference where HOPEFULLY one journo is going to point out the hypocrisy of David Platt.

I think it was only last season where Platt said:

"They (the new players) only signed for City for the gravy train."

What an utter dick... and what utter dicks the people are that hired him.
so now as every enemy circles our city

Can somebody pull up some evidence of him slagging us off?
I can't find none and I'm gonna email the club once i've got a decent amount and ask them what the fuck they're playing at!!!!

stupid, embarrasing appointment.

and that is without looking at his RAG ties and lack of football knowledge and what he did to Forest.

Fucking pathetic.

I'm very interested to see how this goes Bingo fella and quite surprised that it's over an hour and a half and nobody has replied with the evidence that you need. I'll be watching this space with interest.
