What I want to know is.....are we fucking around bidding for Krasic as a tool to push Juve to back off Dzeko?
Agent: CSKA want to sell Milos Krasic to City
Krasic, who has repeatedly been compared to Juve great Pavel Nedved, has made no secret of his intention to move to Turin but it appears the financial might of Manchester City has prevented CSKA from agreeing a deal with the Italian club.
The player's agent, Marko Naletilic, is engaged in talks with CSKA and hopes to agree a move to Serie A, but City are currently at the head of the queue.
"I am not in Russia or in Italy but travelled to Moscow to discuss Krasic's move to Juventus with CSKA," Naletilic told Championat.ru.
"The problem is simple - Manchester City are offering more money to CSKA and they want to sell to the English club. Milos just wants to play in Turin".
Juve's desire to sign Krasic has been called into question recently as they are also in negotiations to sign Bosnia striker Edin Dzeko, and only have room for one non-EU player in their first-team squad.
Juve general director Giuseppe Marotta told Tuttosport: "Forced to choose between Krasic and Dzeko due to the limit on non-EU players, we are focusing our attention on the striker."
The Italian club's stance leaves Krasic in limbo as he has publicly made clear that he does not want to consider joining Roberto Mancini at Eastlands.
"I have heard of Manchester City's interest in me but with all due respect to the club and Mancini, my preference would be to continue my career in Turin," Krasic said. "I don't mean to undermine the club or the Premier League, that is just my preference."
