Surprised the Gazers haven't added it to their other green & yellow merchandise. Although they will probably make them in the shape of a cock with the inscription "blow me" on each one.

I think you are very very wrong. Fear not, all the kids and especially people who go to one game a year for the 'match experience' will have these as it's apparently essential part of football now.

Tottenham made excellent decision and also managed to praise their own supporters in public in process. Now THAT is how you build clubs 'brand' in public. Hope you are making notes Gary C.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Don't have a problem with them. When blown in isolation they are funny in their patheticness.

Why do not these clubs just be honest. They don't like Vuvuzelas not because they don't want to upset fans. It's because TV does not like them.

If they were so concerned about the fans how about, playing music after goals, Ban people banging on drums, Stop the England band all of which are equally annoying as Vuvuzelas.

There is no demand for Vuvuzela so why come out in the papers banning them other than to get a few inches in the papers. Fair play to Blackpool for bucking the trend. I hope City say nothing in the situation.

north stand will be full of them, i dont think a few in the 3rd tiers would go amiss either. Pretty sure there would never be enough that you cant hear us singing. just make a bit of extra noise from the rest of the ground. It's kind of pathetic when all the noise is coming from 110+south stand and the rest of the ground is sat there in silence.

I agree with NQDP here, Spurs pulled a terrific media stunt to promote their club & fans. Well done.

Imo we should make one of those online petitions to show the bloody vuvuzela's are Not needed and Not wanted at CoMS! Or we should just send an email to the club about it. After hundreds of similar emails they'd have to act.

Of course the PL or the FA could take some lead here and ban them altogether.

Nah, silly me. 'Take some lead'? Ridiculous.

One things for sure though, if we let these bastards in there will NEVER be any singing. And the sound is fucking shit. Oh, and while average noise level in CoMS is 115dB's during the season, with vuvzelas it will be around 135dB's meaning GUARANTEED hearing problems over the time to EVERY season ticket holder. for fucking vuvuzela noise.

I think its right not to "ban" them - I think its good of the club to give common sense an oppurtunity to prevail before being heavy handed with bans

That's fair enough. If a load turn up & are a pain they'll soon be banned. I should imagine a certain amount of 'self policing' will occur..

Well if you're sat in front of a few of them at that level it won't take long especially on one note. Health & Safety will be on the case though.

Plus, not bringing in a ban gives the away supporters carte blanche to use them, which will surely drown us out at COMS, given the crap atmosphere.
