I think he desperatley wants to succeed and wont take any crap from anyone , I know they all want to play and I think he will pick each team as the opposition dictates so with rotation I see the whole squad getting a lot of games . And like Beefy says If he succeeds so do we,
i think your mate is underestimating Mancini there.
i would cut across this argument anyway, as i am not sure that the circumstances of the half season gave us that much to go on.
point being the assumption now that Bobby is defensive and will adopt a JM style. I dont see that what we have seen is good evidence for that. but then i dont think what we have seen is good evidence for anything.
Why was pre-season so important to Mancini.. he kept saying it over and over. Normally managers in the UK dont mention it much at all.. certainly not as in, it is very important. could it be that it is because he wants to play with the tactics and had no time to go anywhere near it when he dropped into what is normally an emergency situation, replacing a manager mid season.
So im afraid we will have to wait and see. There is though very little evidence for City fans not to have faith in Bob so far.
Personally for reasons i cant pin down, i think he will be a lot more attacking than people fear, also he may well make City very entertaining to watch.. for reasons based on what we reading into the 'being able to switch formations on the fly'. If that tactic has the right personnel and training and works, we could see City twisting oppos in knots
