Sounds good to me, let's hope he's the first of 2 or 3 more signings next week. Balotelli, Milner and Kolarov would make for a damn good week

He's had enough time off, get him out to America....stat!

great news if true. Agree, it would be a great week if we also got the other two. Can see milner happening, but not sure we'll get balotelli over the line. Hope so though.

We've had some sagas over the years, but this Kolarov thing is like crawling to Peking on broken glass. Hopefully medical Monday. Just shows we can deal with the Italians , difficult though it is, and I reckon Bobby's background has a lot to do with it! In fact City have done well, just ignoring all the tangential flak put out by Lazio and friend Raiola, and sticking to our value.

Balotelli next.

Jo - Real Sociedad offered us €6M but City rejected it. Real aren't in a position to offer more, but City are now trying to negotiate a loan with a view to purchase, as we need to unload players. It says despite his unsuccessful loan spells at Everton and Galatasaray Jo is still 'an appetising player'.

Might have thought they'd be better taking the 6M myself, rather than risk another return in 12 months (or earlier if he gets fired again).

I suppose with the position we are in we could easily offload him for 6M as long as he's off the books. I can't see anyone spending over £10 Millie on him!

Jesus, doesn't ANY team want Jo. At this point, I'd take the 12 million loss just for his roster spot.
£6 million. That's all Real, just enough to pay for his plane ticket on Iberia or whatever; I mean come
on, its Basque country!! The market price on wool can't be THAT low!!

Isn´t it true that we only paid 7m up front ? In that case we should snap their hands off

Now I really hope this is media bollox.

Juve after Adebayor?
Saturday 24 July, 2010
After failing to land Edin Dzeko, Juventes have now started the chase for Manchester City ace Emmanuel Adebayor, Il Corriere dello Sport claims.

The Bianconeri were let down by Wolfsburg after they ultimately told the Bosnian striker he was not for sale.

Now, sporting director Giuseppe Marotta is looking to sign the Togo international striker in order to make up for it.
According to the reports, Roberto Mancini is willing to let the player go as he is set to give more playing time to Roque Santa Cruz.
Juve could sign Adebayor on loan but would have to pay for his £4.5m wage entirely by themselves. The Bianconeri apparently need to wait for City to sign a striker first.

The Bianconeri may also agree with the Citizens for a potential deal regarding Momo Sissoko. The former Liverpool midfielder has been hailed by Mancini, who wishes to sign him on a permanent basis.

Your underlined bit does give the story away as being bullshit, but then going on to say a 'Loan Move' just makes the writer look idiotic.

If the reported price of £15.9 million is correct I'd say we got an absolute bargain.

great business if its true kolarov is a little suspect when it comes to depending but his young enough (24) to improve. i wonder if the squad number 3 will be given to him?

while another target of ours (balotelli) looks promising.

http://www.fcinternews.it/?action=read&idnotizia=23732

it says after tying up the deal for kolarov city officials (marwood?) will meet inter's. the main issue issue about balotelli's wage demands. He/raiola wants €4 million a season while city only wants to go to €2.5 million a season.
